摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for providing augmented reality to a surgeon with the steps of acquiring at least one preoperative medical scan image of a region of interest in which the surgery is to be performed and introducing a fiducial device non-invasively or minimal invasively into a body lumen present in the region of interest of a patient. The fiducial device will be in particular introduced into a lumen, which can be clearly identified in the medical scan image. The fiducial device is adapted to emit infrared light either by using infrared light source or by using fluorescent material placed in or in the fiducial device ad to be excited by illumination light or exciting light. After acquiring at least one imaging light live image and one infrared live image the tissue structure of the body lumen with the fiducial device placed therein is clearly detectable within the live image and can reliably registered and matched to the scan image for presenting the overlaid images and to the surgeon.

摘要： A method and system for 3D reconstruction of coronary artery based on vascular branch registration. The method includes: classifying bifurcated vessels and normal vessels of an intravascular ultrasound image and segmenting intima and adventitia of the bifurcated vessels and normal vessels separately; extracting a 3D centerline of a CAG image; locating vascular branches and automatically matching key points of the CAG image; and registering the intima and adventitia segmentation images to the 3D centerline of the CAG image according to the key points of the CAG image and performing 3D reconstruction of the coronary artery. The method uses automatic matching of vascular branches to fuse CAG and IVUS images and reconstruct them in 3D, which is more helpful for intuitive judgment of doctors on the premise of improving speed and accuracy, and is of great significance for auxiliary diagnosis of diseases.

摘要： Techniques for aligning images generated by two cameras are disclosed. This alignment is performed by computing a relative 3D orientation between the two cameras. A first gravity vector for a first camera and a second gravity vector for a second camera are determined. A first camera image is obtained from the first camera, and a second camera image is obtained from the second camera. A first alignment process is performed to partially align the first camera's orientation with the second camera's orientation. This process is performed by aligning the gravity vectors, thereby resulting in two degrees of freedom of the relative 3D orientation being eliminated. Visual correspondences between the two images are identified. A second alignment process is performed to fully align the orientations. This process is performed by using the identified visual correspondences to identify and eliminate a third degree of freedom of the relative 3D orientation.

摘要： An apparatus includes a control system that defines a test part having multiple features of multiple feature types. The control system controls an additive manufacturing (AM) machine to print multiple copies of the test part, with each copy being printed according to a respective set of values used as printing parameters. A measurement system obtains a computed tomography (CT) image of each of the copies of the test part. An analysis system, for each of the plurality of feature types, analyzes the CT images to identify a selected set of values for the printing parameters. The analysis system identifies a portion of the CT image related to a first feature and assesses its density based on an average grayscale value. The AM machine is then controlled to print production parts according to, for each feature type of the production parts, the selected set of values for the printing parameters.
