The system and method comprise collecting by a user of a testing device a biologic sample for use with the testing device, assigning correlative values as test results, and receiving the test results at a server disposed on a network. Some aspects include a mobile application operating on a mobile device with which the user interacts. These aspects allow advertisements and other messages to be presented to the user through the mobile application. Some aspects present different messages to the user based on the type of self-diagnostic test the user is conducting.

Furthermore, the central computing device (500) is configured to activate the alarm condition at the end of a predetermined time delay after the activation of a first operating element (210) on the communication device (200). In one embodiment, the portable communication device comprises a second operating element (220) and is configured to input, from the second operating element (220), extension data indicating the extension of the predetermined delay, and to transmit the extension data to the central computing device (500); and the central computing device (500) is configured to extend the predetermined delay based on the extension data.

摘要： A security system can use video analytics and/or other input parameters to identify a theft event. Optionally, the security system can take remedial action in response. For example, the security system can use video analytics to determine that a person has reached into a shelf multiple times at a rate above a threshold, which can indicate that a thief is quickly removing items from the shelf. The security system can also use video analytics to determine that a person has reached into a shelf via a sweeping action, which can indicate that a thief is gathering and removing a large quantity of items from the shelf in one motion. In response, the security system can alert security personnel, cause a speaker to output an audible message in the target area, flag portions of the video relating to the theft event, activate or ready other sensors or systems, and/or the like.
