The drive plate drives a toggle assembly after a predetermined dwell angle. The toggle assembly quickly rotates a slotted cam after an additional dwell period. The vacuum switches are attached to the slotted cam and are opened and closed in the proper sequence as determined by the shape and position of the cam slots.
