    • Fuse state indicators for use with disconnect devices having a fuse are provided. Fuse state indicators include a housing having circuitry, a detecting means for detecting an open circuit condition, conductors adapted for electrical connection to a disconnect device so as to complete a circuit connecting the detecting means with a fuse of the disconnect device, and a signal transmitting means The detecting means is configured to transmit a signal to the signal transmitting means for determining an operational state of the fuse. The signal transmitting means, in turn, is configured to transmit a signal to a remote device the state of the fuse.

    • A low battery indicating device is disclosed for indicating that a battery has low power. The device includes an indicator having a body movable between a retracted, unactuated position and an extended, actuated position. The indicator is visible when in the actuated position. The device also includes means for biasing the indicator towards the actuated position, and latch means cooperating with a portion of the body of the indicator, when the latch means is in a stop position, to hold the indicator in its unactuated position. The latch means is movable between the stop position and a go position which frees the indicator to move, under operation of the biasing means, to the actuated position. A memory alloy wire is mechanically associated with the latch means so as to leave the latch means in the stop position when the memory alloy wire is in a relaxed state and to move the latch means to the go position when the memory alloy wire is in a contracted state caused by heating of the memory alloy wire. Electrical sensor circuitry is in communication with the memory alloy wire. The electrical sensor circuitry is adapted to detect when the battery means has low power and cause heating of the memory alloy wire to cause it to change to the contracted state and thereby move the latch means to the go position.

    • Method for forming a toner image on a photosensitive material bearing an electrostatic latent image comprising(a) introducing a one component developer consisting of fine toner particles, said toner particles comprising ferromagnetic powder dispersed in a resin such that at least a portion of said ferromagnetic powder is not totally encased by said resin, said toner particles being capable of accepting a triboelectric charge and having a specific resistivity of 10.sup.14 ohm.cm,into a toner vessel which includes a regulating plate for controlling the amount of toner to be fed,(b) feeding said toner onto a toner feeder comprising a non-magnetic cylinder drum and a plurality of magnets disposed therein so that north and south poles are directed to the inner surface of said non-magnetic cylinder,(c) carrying said toner along said non-magnetic cylinder into close proximity to said electrostatic latent image,said toner particles developing a triboelectric charge of a polarity opposite to that of said electrostatic latent image during steps (a) through (c) in the absence of a corona discharging device, and(d) bringing said toner particles into contact with said electrostatic latent image.
