摘要： An arc path forming unit and a direct current relay are disclosed. An arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a magnet frame extending in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of main magnet units disposed in the width direction of the magnet frame. The surfaces, which face each other, of the main magnet units have the same polarity. Therefore, magnetic fields that repel each other are generated in a space between the respective main magnet units. An electromagnetic force in the direction oriented toward the outside of the arc path forming unit is formed by means of the magnetic fields. Thus, a generated arc can move in the direction of the electromagnetic force so as to be stably extinguished. As a result, various members positioned in the center of the direct current relay are prevented from being damaged by the arc.

摘要： An electrical contactor system includes a stationary contactor having a stationary contact, a moving contactor having a moving contact, a rotating member, a magnetic blow-out arc quenching device including a permanent magnet, and an isolation arc quenching device. The moving contactor is mounted on the rotating member and is rotatable between a connected position and a disconnected position. The moving contact is in electrical contact with the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the connected position, the moving contact is separated from the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the disconnected position. The permanent magnet is statically disposed in a vicinity of the stationary contactor for elongating an arc between the stationary contact and the moving contact by an electromagnetic force so as to extinguish the arc. The isolation arc quenching device pushes the arc toward the permanent magnet so as to force the arc to move to a vicinity of the permanent magnet.

A size of the gap is set such that a pressure is generated in the damping space to cause a damping force acting on the mobile component when the damping space changes in volume.
