In an energizing period and a non-energizing period in a case where the three-phase motor is energized from the first power supply line through the PWM-control of the inverter, during a first predetermined period in the energizing period immediately before transition from the energizing period to the non-energizing period, the PWM controller performs a SWEEP of a signal applied to one of the high-side switching element and the low-side switching element, and performs a synchronous rectification control.

摘要： The present invention provides an acceleration method for V/f controlled induction motor in flux-weakening region, which comprises: acquiring no-load magnetizing current Im of the induction motor at current stator frequency; selecting a smaller one of 0.5·Im(1/σ+1) and (Im2+σ)/(Im+σIm) as magnetizing current set point, in which σ is an estimated total leakage inductance coefficient; getting an error signal by subtracting the magnetizing current of the induction motor from the magnetizing current set point; determining the stator frequency for the next control period according to the error signal which is provided as a controlling variable of negative feedback. The acceleration method of the present invention can provide the maximum output torque in flux-weakening region and has a larger tolerance for the error of the estimated leakage inductance.

摘要： An integrated controller for an operator unit for powering an overhead garage roller door or roller shutter is described. The operator unit comprises a motor, an output drive assembly, a timing assembly unit, and a clutch assembly for providing selective engagement between motor powered operation and manual operation (provided by a chain rotating a chain wheel). The motor is arranged to drive a shaft which, in turn, provides drive to the roller door or shutter assembly (not shown), which includes an axle around which the roller door or shutter is wound. The integrated controller comprises an inverter for receiving a single phase power supply and supplying three phase power to drive the motor; and a drive controller in operable association with the inverter for providing active management of the operation of the motor.

摘要： A motor control apparatus includes a voltage regulator to execute a voltage increase mode to increase a voltage applied to an induction motor from a lower limit of a first range over time. A frequency regulator executes a frequency decrease mode to decrease a frequency of the voltage from an upper limit of a second range over time. When a current through the motor exceeds a first threshold in the voltage increase mode, a mode changer changes the mode to the frequency decrease mode. When the current through the motor becomes smaller than a second threshold in the frequency decrease mode, the mode changer changes the mode to the voltage increase mode to control the motor to change from a free running state to a state in which the voltage and the frequency satisfy a relationship. A determinator determines whether the voltage and the frequency satisfy the relationship.

摘要： A system for soft starting a large AC motor may include a variable frequency drive (VFD) having a much lower voltage rating than the rated voltage of the AC motor. The VFD's voltage rating may be in a range of about 33% to about 67% of the AC motor's rated voltage. The AC motor may be coupled to a utility power source via conventional connections to leads of the AC motor's windings. The VFD may be connected to the AC motor via tapped connections within the windings of the AC motor such that the tap voltages are much less than the AC motor's rated voltage. A less expensive VFD may therefore be used to soft start the AC motor instead of a VFD having the same rated voltage as the AC motor. Methods of starting large AC motors with a VFD are also provided, as are other aspects.
