摘要： A system and method for transmitting at least one multichannel audio matrix across a global network is shown and described. The method for transmitting at least one multichannel audio matrix across a global network begins by capturing audio from a production source. The captured audio is then converted from an analog format to a digital format. The digital audio may then be encoded using an audio codec. The audio is sent to a network and received at a second location. The second location uses a specialized computing device to ensure the audio is properly received. If the audio was encoded, it is now decoded. Once decoded if needed the audio is converted back to analog format. This will allow for the audio to be mixed on a mixing device.

摘要： A method for processing a digital audio broadcast signal includes: separating an analog audio portion and a digital audio portion of the digital audio broadcast signal; determining the loudness of the analog audio portion and the digital audio portion over a first short time interval; using the loudness of the analog and digital audio portions to calculate a short term average gain; determining a long term average gain; converting one of the long term average gain or the short term average gain to dB; if an output has been blended to digital, adjusting a digital gain parameter by a preselected increment to produce a digital gain parameter; if an output has not been blended to digital, setting the digital gain parameter to the short term average gain; providing the digital gain parameter to an audio processor; and repeating the above steps using a second short time interval.

It is determined whether each audio signal of the plurality of audio signals includes a designated signal type, according to an audio parameter of each audio signal. A marked audio encoding stream is obtained by performing a marking to each audio signal as having or not having the designated signal type. The marking is used, at a decoding terminal, to perform an enhancement-process to one or more audio signals having the designated signal type. The enhancement-process is not performed to audio signals that do not have the designated signal type.

摘要： A channel selection circuit in a serial audio communication device provides channel selection for insertion or extraction of data to or from a multiplexed serial data stream without the requirement of extra channel selection inputs. The channel selection circuit has multiple counters structured such that each counter represents a channel of the serial data stream. The input of each counter receives one of the multiple synchronizing timing signals. The input of the designated counter receives one timing signal that has the greatest frequency. The remaining counters receive the word select timing signals for determining which channel is being selected. A ready output of each counter is a channel indicator in communication with multiple signal selection circuits for selecting the multiple timing signals to be transferred to a data processing device for inserting or extracting data to or from the multiplexed serial data stream.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for generating a personalized radio channel playlist by simultaneously buffering tracks from multiple received channels from one or more source streams and selectively playing back tracks from the buffered channels. Navigation tools permit users to skip buffered songs in their playlist (e.g., skip forward and backward). Users can specify favorite channels for building personal playlists, or multiple default playlist channels can be provided (e.g., by genre). Thumbs up/down buttons on the radio receiver permit entering a song or artist being played back into a favorites list that is used to search all channels for matches or a banned list used to block songs from future playlists. A matched channel carrying the favorite can be added to a playlist. Segments on the playlist can be played back in full or truncated to facilitate preview of playlist segments.

In the case where reception of the main packet is lost, one is selected from the plurality of ports in turn, the operation to confirm arrival of the main packet is restarted, and another port at which the main packet arrives at the present stage is automatically found.
