摘要： A synchronization device and a synchronization method for synchronizing a first node and a second node are provided. The first node supports a first time protocol profile, and the second node supports a second time protocol profile. The synchronization method includes: providing a system operating time by a counter; communicating with the first node based on the first time protocol profile to obtain first synchronization information; calculating a time delay according to the first synchronization information, and correcting the system operating time according to the time delay to generate a corrected system operating time; and communicating with the second node based on the second time protocol profile so as to provide the second node with second synchronization information according to the corrected system operating time.

摘要： A wireless communication device identifies an access point for a wireless network. The device initiates a connection procedure to establish a wireless connection between the wireless communication device and the access point, and the connection procedure includes: (i) selecting a degraded set of uplink transmission quality parameters that correspond to a higher signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio than a baseline set of uplink transmission quality parameters, and (ii) transmitting messages from the wireless communication device to the access point during the connection procedure according to the degraded set of uplink transmission quality parameters. The wireless network connection can be established between the wireless communication device and the access point as a result of completion of the connection procedure, despite the wireless communication device transmitting messages to the access point during the connection procedure according to the degraded set of uplink transmission quality parameters.

摘要： A network device (100) is included in a ring-type network system (500) which selects a time master. A link processing unit (20) generates a link for communicating a frame. The link processing unit (20) has a frame discarding function of discarding the frame in order to avoid a broadcast storm. A path control unit (108) generates a time distribution path starting at and terminating at a time master, clockwise and counterclockwise of the time master. The path control unit (108) communicates a time synchronization message out of the frame, the synchronization message being used for time synchronization of a plurality of network devices (100). A filtering unit (103), upon acquisition of the time synchronization message, makes the time synchronization message to pass through regardless of the frame discarding function.

A final amplifier stage is in communication with the driver stage and includes at least one second driver. At least one S-NBS switch is configured to selectively activate/deactivate the first driver and second driver. A controller is configured to activate the at least one pre-driver switch, the mute switch, the at least one S-NBS switch to selectively place the amplifier in one of a transmit mode and a mute mode.

摘要： A digital repeater system for repeating RF signals comprises: a receiving section for receiving an RF input signal, the RF input signal comprising at least one frequency band including a multiplicity of subbands associated with a multiplicity of communication channels; and at least one transmitting section for transmitting the RF output signal. The receiving section is constituted to digitize the RF input signal to obtain a digital input signal and to isolate, within the digital input signal, the multiplicity of subbands from each other to obtain a multiplicity of digital subband signals. The at least one transmitting section is constituted to combine the digital subband signals to obtain a digital output signal and to convert the digital output signal to an RF output signal. In addition, the receiving section comprises a power profile estimation unit for determining a power estimate for each digital subband signal associated with the multiplicity of subbands and a muting device for muting a digital subband signal of a particular subband based on the power estimate. In this way a digital repeater system for repeating RF signals is provided which allows for a detection of unused portions of a frequency band in order to improve the performance of the overall system.

摘要： Facilitating uninterrupted transmission of internet protocol (IP) transmissions during endpoint changes is disclosed. When an IP transmission is received at a first relay port or a second relay port, a call record having the first relay port identifier or the second relay port identifier matching a destination port identifier in the IP transmission is located. When the destination port identifier matches the first relay port identifier of the record, a source IP address identifier and a source port identifier from the IP transmission are set as a first entity IP address identifier and first entity port identifier, respectively, of the record when the first entity IP address identifier and first entity port identifier do not match the source IP address identifier and source port identifier respectively and a received IP session identifier in the IP transmission matches the first entity session identifier. A similar procedure is followed to set a second entity IP address identifier and port identifier.
