摘要： 23A wireless communications device has a first security key, a second security key, and established channels. Each established channel has a corresponding security count value, and utilizes a security key. At least one of the established channels utilizes the first security key. The second security key is assigned to a new channel. A first set is then used to obtain a first value. The first set has only security count values of all the established channels that utilize the second key. The first value is at least as great as the x most significant bits (MSBx) of the greatest value in the first set. The MSBx of the initial security count value for the new channel is set equal to the first value. If the first set is empty, then the initial security count is set to zero.

摘要： One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for determining whether to perform a switchover operation between computing nodes. A first computing node and a second computing node, configured as disaster recovery partners, may be deployed within a computing environment. The first computing node and the second computing node may be configured to provide operational state information (e.g., normal operation, a failure, etc.) to a cloud environment node state provider and/or cloud persistent storage accessible through a cloud storage service. Accordingly, a computing node may obtain operational state information of a partner node from the cloud environment node state provider and/or the cloud storage service notwithstanding a loss of internode communication and/or an infrastructure failure that may otherwise appear as a failure of the partner node. In this way, the computing node may accurately determine whether the partner node has failed.

Depending on implementation, a hardware-based replication process can include steps for receiving a first packet that includes a first outer header containing first address information, receiving a second packet including a second outer header containing a hardware replication flag, forwarding the first packet to all virtual tunnel endpoints (VTEPs) connected with the TOR switch, and performing hardware replication for the second packet based on the hardware replication flag to generate one or more unicast packets. One embodiment comprises an apparatus that generates spatial data of an environment in a 3-D coordinate system. The apparatus identifies 3-D locations of the apparatus within the environment based on the spatial data, identifies RF performance values for the RF transmitter at the 3-D locations based on the RF performance data, and generates a 3-D RF performance map of the environment based on the 3-D locations and the RF performance values.

摘要： An FCoE switch system includes a switch IHS that is directly connected to a first endpoint IHS through a first edge port and to a second endpoint IHS through a second edge port. The switch IHS is receives an FCoE communication through the first edge port from the first endpoint IHS that includes an FC header, a source MAC address, and a destination MAC address. The switch IHS then creates a derived MAC address using information included in the FC header, and replaces the destination MAC address in the FCoE communication with the derived MAC address. In response to determining that the second endpoint is directly connected to the second edge port, the switch IHS replaces the source MAC address in the FCoE communication with a local FCF-MAC address. The switch IHS then forwards the first FCoE communication to the second endpoint IHS through the second edge port.
