In some embodiments, a system can receive, from a first capturing agent deployed in a virtualization layer of a first device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the first capturing agent. The system can also receive, from a second capturing agent deployed in a hardware layer of a second device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the second capturing agent. Based on the data reports, the system can determine characteristics of the traffic captured by the first capturing agent and the second capturing agent. The system can then compare the characteristics to determine a multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics. Based on the multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics, the system can determine that the first capturing agent or the second capturing agent is in a faulty state.

Metrics may be determined based on monitoring network traffic associated with entities in the network such that the metrics may be included in profiles associated each entity. The profiles may be compared with other profiles in a context database based on the metrics included in each profile and each other profile. In response to the profiles being unmatched by other profiles one or more active probes may be performed to collect other metrics that may be used to update profiles. In response to the one or more profiles being matched by the other profiles in the context database, a timestamp associated with the other profiles may be updated to a current time value. Reports that include information associated with the entities and the profiles or the updated profiles may be generated.

摘要： A system and method for monitoring one or more Mobility Management Entities (MMEs) with a plurality of scalable Virtual Machines (VM)/probes arranged in a cluster format. A ciphered packet is received from a MME at a smart cluster device/probe whereby data is aggregated from the individual clustered VMs/probes for distribution to a monitoring device. The smart cluster device/probe is preferably configured to decipher the ciphered packet received from the MME and extract metadata from the deciphered packet to identify subscriber information for the received packet. The deciphered packet is then distributed to one of the plurality of clustered probes to balance the load amongst the plurality of clustered probes. The balancing of loads is based upon prescribed load balancing criteria such that each packet received for an identified subscriber is sent to a same probe such that load balancing is performed on a per subscriber basis and/or with other state-based criteria. KPI session related data associated with a subscriber is generated in a clustered probe that receives the distributed packet from the smart cluster device/probe. Subscriber related data from each clustered probe is then aggregated with at least one monitoring device operably coupled to the clustered probes such that a user of the monitoring device is provided with the perception that the monitoring device is coupled to a single probe.

The method includes accessing record objects, each of which corresponds to a record object type and includes object fields having object field-values. The method includes selecting one of the record objects. The method includes identifying electronic activities transmitted or received associated with the record object. Each of the electronic activities has a timestamp indicating a receipt time or transmission time of the respective electronic activity. The method includes determining a participant of each of the electronic activities. The method includes determining a completion score indicating a likelihood of completing an event associated with the record object based on the timestamp of each of the electronic activities and the participant of each of the electronic activities. The method includes storing an association between the record object and the completion score.

摘要： This application provides a network performance monitoring method, a network device, and a storage medium, and belongs to the field of network technologies. In this application, a forwarding plane samples network performance data based on a fine-grained time periodicity, and records a quantity of network performance exceptions; and a control plane generates, based on a coarse-grained time periodicity, an alarm when the quantity of network performance exceptions recorded by the forwarding plane is greater than a threshold. On a basis of meeting a fine-grained requirement on network performance monitoring, because the control plane does not need to report all the collected network performance data, a volume of data that needs to be reported by the control plane is greatly reduced. This resolves a problem of overload of a main control CPU that is caused by massive data reporting, and reduces dependency of the network performance monitoring on performance of the main control CPU of a device. This further resolves a problem that a large quantity of bandwidth resources are occupied due to the massive data reporting, reduces dependency of the network performance monitoring on the bandwidth resources, and helps meet a requirement for deploying a large quantity of performance monitoring nodes in a live network.
