摘要： An induction heating system includes interchangeable secondary induction heating assemblies and/or secondary induction heating coil flux concentrators that are specifically configured for the particular type of weld being created and/or the particular weld joint where the weld is created. For example, the secondary induction heating assemblies and/or secondary induction heating coil flux concentrators may have specific physical configurations (e.g., shapes, contours, etc.) and/or include specific materials (e.g., ferrites) that are well suited for the particular type of weld being created and/or the particular weld joint where the weld is created. In certain embodiments, a robotic positioning system may be configured to move the secondary induction heating coil to an induction heating coil changing station to, for example, detach the secondary induction heating coil, and attach another secondary induction heating coil, thereby facilitating different secondary induction heating coils to be used for induction heating of different types of welds, for example. In addition, in certain embodiments, the robotic positioning system may be configured to move the secondary induction heating coil to the induction heating coil changing station to, for example, detach the secondary induction heating coil flux concentrator, and attach another secondary induction heating coil flux concentrator.

摘要： In certain embodiments described herein, a heated line forming system includes a heating coil system configured to produce a heated line on a surface of a metal part. The heated line forming system also includes an air knife cooling system configured to maintain a dry area for the heated line, and to direct a coolant (e.g., cooling water, liquified gases such as liquid argon, solidified gases such as carbon dioxide snow, and so forth) around the heated line via a spray mechanism such that the coolant does not flow or splash into the heated line on the metal part. In certain embodiments, the heated line forming system includes multiple induction coils arranged along a line and spaced a short distance apart, but which, when operated simultaneously together, form a heated line on a surface of a metal part.

摘要： A portable induction heating tool includes a housing which includes a base having a support surface. The support surface defines a recess facing away from the housing. The recess is at least partially defined by a wall projecting from the support surface. A work coil is within the housing and secured to the base in a location aligned with the recess. The portable induction heating tool includes electronic circuitry which is configured to provide oscillating electrical energy to the work coil, thereby generating an oscillating magnetic field projecting away from the base. The electronic circuitry is also configured to detect a quantity of energy consumed by the work coil and to limit the quantity of energy to a predetermined quantity.

The heating device includes a radiating plate made from stainless steel arranged facing the conveyor device and heated by electromagnetic induction by means of at least one inductor arranged facing the radiating plate and spaced apart therefrom on the side opposite to the conveyor device. A cooling air flow for the braking elements between the resting surface and the radiating plate is directed in counterflow to a feeding direction of the conveyor device.
