摘要： A reinforcing bar bending machine detachably mounts a wire reel thereto, feeds a wire from the mounted wire reel to a guide part provided at a tip portion of a binding machine main body, curls the wire at the guide part, feeds the wire around reinforcing bars to wind around reinforcing bars, cuts the wire with a wire cutting mechanism, and twists the wound wire to bind the reinforcing bars. The wire cutting mechanism is a cutter including a moveable blade configured to slide or swing to a fixed blade or to rotate inside the fixed blade and to cut the wire. The guide part is provided with a holding device to hold a cut end portion-side of the wire cut and separated in conjunction with a cutting operation of the moveable blade. The holding device bends and holds the cut end portion-side of the cut and separated wire.

摘要： Systems, methods, and user interfaces for controlling a bulk material baling system are provided. One embodiment of the invention relates to a user interface for controlling components of a tying system, providing a wire odometer that determines and displays real-time information on the use of consumables by the tying system, such as an amount of remaining wire. Embodiments of the wire odometer simultaneously monitor and display an amount of remaining wire on a wire carrier, and a corresponding number of straps remaining to be tied by the current wire carrier. Further embodiments of the user interface provide monitoring data and remaining-use expectancy indicators for individual system components. Additional embodiments of the user interface are configured to control various features of components of a combination tying system that straps bailed material with alternate tying heads, providing both wire strapping and plastic strapping capabilities.

摘要： A band tightening assembly includes a guide that is positionable against HVAC ducting. The guide slidably engages a band extending around the HVAC ducting. The guide has a first arm extending along a longitudinal axis that is oriented perpendicular to a second arm such that the first and second arms form a plus. A collar is coupled to the guide and the collar is positioned on the first arm. The collar is oriented to extend along an axis that is offset 4.0 degrees from the longitudinal axis of the first arm. A shaft is rotatably positioned in the collar and the shaft has a rotational axis that is aligned with the axis of the collar. The shaft has a slot therein for insertably receiving the band. The shaft has an engaging well for receiving a socket drive on a power tool. Thus, the shaft is rotated about the rotational axis when the power tool is turned on to tighten the band around the HVAC ducting.

摘要： The present invention concerns a device (1) for applying gripping handles (M) on films (P), being supplied on shrinkwrap packers (2) for making bundles of bottles (B), cans and/or similar containers (B). The device (1) comprises: an applying head (10) provided with a roller (11) for applying gripping handles (M); an abutment mechanism (14) for operatively supporting a series of heat-shrinkable packaging films (P), being supplied on a respective shrinkwrap packer (2). The applying roller (11) and the abutment mechanism (14) are mobile with respect to one another between a non-operating condition, in which they are spaced apart, and an operating condition, in which the applying roller (11) is arranged, at the abutment mechanism (14), against at least one of the films (P) being supplied to apply a respective gripping handle (M) on the latter. The abutment mechanism (14) comprises a supporting tape (15) having an advancement surface (16) for advancing the films (P), which, in the operating condition, provides an abutment for the applying roller (11), which applies each handle (M) on a respective packaging film (P), acting against the advancement surface (16) of the supporting tape (15).

In addition, a method of manufacturing a corner board includes bending a board stock to form first and second sides of the corner board with an angle therebetween; cutting the board stock into fixed lengths, the bent and cut board stock forming the corner board; and forming a slit near a first end of the corner board. The present corner board may be advantageously rested or placed along a vertical edge of a container or stack of containers.

A pad includes upper and lower horizontal score lines inset from upper and lower edges, and right and left vertical score lines inset from right and left edges. The score lines define a central portion, upper and lower portions, and right and left portions. The product is placed on the central portion. The upper and lower portions fold toward the central portion, contacting the product. A wrap of restraining material is wrapped around the pad and the product. The right and left portions fold to an upright position perpendicular to the pad. The right and left vertical score lines include die-cut tabs. When the right and left portions fold to the upright position, the die-cut tabs extend to an aligned position below and perpendicular to the pad. The pad and the wrapped product insert into a master shipping container. The wrap holds the product in position on the pad. The upright right and left portions and the extended die-cut tab portions t suspend the pad and product within the container.

摘要： A system for controlling a braking mechanism for a supply roll with wrapping material for a round baler that passes through a first phase wherein, after detection of sufficient crop material in the baling chamber, wrapping material is brought up to the baling chamber and introduced into the baling chamber. The braking mechanism provides a higher braking force during the wrapping operation than the first phase. The wrapping operation is started on detection of movement in the wrapping material. This prevents the braking mechanism from being activated prematurely and leaves sufficient time to deactivate the braking mechanism after the wrapping operation.

摘要： Monitoring current draw of an actuator associated with a rotating arm on a round baler during a net wrapping cycle is used to determine the position of the rotating arm and actuator, as well as to determine the net tension. The current draw of the actuator may be correlated with the home and insert positions of the rotating arm during the net wrapping cycle; thus by monitoring the current draw, the rotating arm and actuator position is determined and may be provided to aid an operator. The net tension during the net wrapping cycle is a function of the rotating arm and actuator current. A calculation of net tension is determined and provided to an operator, allowing the operator to verify performance issues related to the net tension.

A selected size roll of material used to wrap food products is mounted in a housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is fed through a slot in the housing. At least one roll of labels is staged in a storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the labels is fed through a label feeding system. At least one writing implement is preferably staged in the storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is pulled to a selected length to be used to wrap a food product. A cutting apparatus is used to cut the selected length of material. The food product is wrapped with the selected length of material. A label is removed from the roll of labels, marked with the staged writing implement and placed on the wrapped food product.
