In embodiments, a method of adhering substrates is provided which comprises disposing a cold pressure fix toner comprising a phase change material on a first substrate via xerography to form an unfused layer of the cold pressure fix toner on the first substrate; placing a second substrate on the unfused layer of the cold pressure fix toner; and subjecting the cold pressure fix toner to a pressure to form a bonded article comprising the first substrate, an adhesive layer formed from the cold pressure fix toner, and the second substrate. Methods of applying an adhesive to a substrate and bonded articles are also provided.

摘要： A method of producing a temperature regulating article is disclosed. The method includes combining a functional polymeric phase change material with a substrate. The functional polymeric PCM has the capability of absorbing or releasing heat to adjust heat transfer at or within a temperature stabilizing range and having at least one phase change temperature in the range between −10° C. and 100° C. and a phase change enthalpy of at least 5 Joules per gram, the functional polymeric PCM has a backbone chain, side chains, and a crystallizable section. The side chains form the crystallizable section. The functional PCM carries at least one reactive function on at least one of the side chains or the backbone chain. The reactive function is capable of forming at least a first covalent bond with the second material or with a connecting compound capable of reacting with reactive functions of the second material.

The heat storage/dissipation material is capable of maintaining a state of storing heat as long as the heat storage/dissipation material is not subjected to the pressure or the light for heat dissipation and is capable of releasing heat when subjected to the pressure or the light for heat dissipation, and therefore is capable of releasing the stored heat at a desired timing.

The heat storing unit is configured to conduct a cold heat emission mode in which the liquid phase thermal medium and a cooling medium exchange heat in the thermal medium container to evaporate the thermal medium such that cold heat is emitted to the cooling medium.

摘要： The present invention provides methods of producing manufactured aggregates and other compositions from an encapsulated PCM slurry, suspension or emulsion by combining a cementitious binder and a adsorbent and/or absorbent with the PCM slurry. The encapsulated PCM-containing composition can be produced in an agglomeration process. The ingredients can also be mixed to form a viscous mass which can be extruded or otherwise formed to produce useful products.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide various polymeric matrices that may be used as a binder matrix for polymer solder hybrid thermal interface materials. In alternative embodiments the binder matrix material may be phophozene, perfluoro ether, polyether, or urethane. For one embodiment, the binder matrix is selected to provide improved adhesion to a variety of interfaces. For an alternative embodiment the binder matrix is selected to provide low contact resistance. In alternative embodiments, polymeric materials containing fusible and non-fusible particles may be used in application where heat removal is desired and is not restricted to thermal interface materials for microelectronic devices.
