摘要： Embodiments of an article comprising a cold-formed glass substrate in a curved shape, a plurality of separate mechanical retainers, and a frame are disclosed. The cold-formed glass substrate has a first major surface, and a second major surface opposing the first major surface. In one more embodiments, the plurality of separate mechanical retainers are attached to the second major surface of the cold-formed glass substrate. The mechanical retainers may be attached to the frame to define a position for each of the plurality of mechanical retainers, such that the mechanical retainers define the curved shape. Embodiments of processes to form such articles are also provided. Such processes can include attaching a plurality of separate mechanical retainers to a flexible glass substrate such that the glass substrate maintains its flexibility, and attaching the mechanical retainers to a frame, such that the mechanical retainers attached to the frame define a cold-formed curved shape for the flexible glass substrate.

The channeled stile surfaces and the channeled rail surfaces include channels with open ends that receive the periphery of the panel, first grooves positioned at first interfaces of the first panel surface and first edges of the open ends of the channels, and second grooves positioned at second interfaces of the second panel surface and second edges of the open ends of the channels. The sealant is received in the first and second grooves, preferably forming a water-proof seal.

摘要： A stile system to support a door or other types of panels is provided. The doors and/or panels may include frameless glass panes. The stile system may include a longitudinal channel into which the side of the door may be received and secured. The system may include a clamping assembly that may provide clamping forces onto the opposing lateral surfaces of the door within the longitudinal channel to secure it therein. The clamping assembly may be controlled by a controlling assembly in combination with the housing to provide inward forces to the clamping members to secure the panel. The stile system also includes a unitizing gasket configured to hold the elements of the clamping assembly in place during the system's assembly and use.
