摘要： A driveline component includes a first plate and a second plate. A motor is engaged with the first plate. The first plate and the second plate include ramped grooves that ramp toward the other of the first plate and the second plate. Balls are disposed between the first plate and the second plate and are engaged with the ramped grooves. A shifter is engaged with the second plate. Relative rotation of the first plate and the second plate causes the balls in the ramped grooves to move the first plate and the second plate axially relative to each other. This relative rotation may be used to make one type of mode selection, and operation of the shifter by the second plate may be used to make another type of mode selection. This allows the single motor to make both selections.

The first partial transmission contains odd forward gear stages and the second partial transmission contains even forward gear stages. The control cam of at least one selector drum encircles through at least 360°. The associated drive motor is designed to drive said selector drum through at least 360°. An input cable having an inner wire and outer sheath interconnects the operator with the shift mechanism while an output cable of the same structure interconnects the shift mechanism with the controlled member. The shift mechanism includes a lever which has three inner wire connecting portions and which is pivotally mounted on a base that includes a pair of connecting portions for the outer cables. The connection points of the inner wires and outer cables are selectively changed to accommodate different types of transmission selectors and drive units with normal or reverse rotation propellers.

摘要： An interlock device for a shift mechanism of a multi-speed power transmission device includes a shift rod capable of selective axial positioning at a plurality of predetermined locations for specific gear ratio operating conditions and a neutral non-operating condition. The shift rod includes detents in the surface thereof associated with these locations and a position locating device is aligned with the shift rod to be capable of being forced into engaging contact with one of these detents by the introduction of pressurized air into a power cylinder acting thereon. Selective axial positioning of the shift rod is prevented when the torque transmitting power source providing the input to the transmission device is in a power mode and causes the pressurized air to be applied to the power cylinder.
