摘要： An air hose connection device is characterized by a hollow cylinder having a raised concentric ring at its midpoint, the two halves of the cylinder being roughly identical. The hollow cylinder also has a series of concentric smaller rings, each of which consists of a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a groove located approximately in the concentric smaller ring's center. In some embodiments, the proximal portion is configured to make contact with an air hose's interior, leaving a gap between the air hose's interior and the distal portion and the groove. In some embodiments, this gap may be filled with weld-fast or other such glue. Once each side of the present invention has been secured into two air hose ends, and a sufficient connection has been made between the proximal portions of the present invention and the air hose pieces' interiors, a secure airtight portal may be created between the two air hose pieces, allowing the air hoses to function as a contiguous air hose line.

摘要： A hose and fitting assembly includes a hose of a first thermoplastic polymer material having an end portion with an inner surface and an outer surface and a fitting of a second polymer material for connection with an external point of use. The fitting has a central tubular projection with an axial fluid passageway. The central tubular projection has an inner wall which defines the fluid passageway and an outer wall, at least partly integrally coupled to the inner surface of the end portion of the hose. The hose and fitting assembly includes a reinforcement member of a third polymer material at the periphery of the end portion of the hose for restraining radial deformations of the hose and providing the assembly with a good mechanical and/or hydraulic sealing capability. 摘要： A method and apparatus for producing a cured elastomeric hose having an internal socket or other internal configuration formed therein and the product produced. Cured elastomeric hose can be formed having an internal socket by mounting the hose on a mandrel assembly having the desired internal configuration formed therein. An end forming cap assembly is selectively mounted on the hose and mandrel assembly, tightly engages the hose and forces the hose to assume the shape of the mandrel assembly. The hose is cured and then the end forming cap is removed from the hose through the use of an air removal tool. The product produced is suitable to receive a wide variety of articles such as an anti-splashback valve or a molded thermoplastic connector.
