摘要： A method to process a laboratory carrier in a laboratory system based on a feature of a test liquid in the laboratory carrier is presented. The laboratory system comprises the laboratory carrier comprising the test liquid, a terahertz wave source, a terahertz detector, a laboratory carrier processing device, and a control unit. Using terahertz technology and data analysis, the feature of the test liquid in the laboratory carrier can be determined. In addition, the control unit controls the laboratory carrier processing device based on the determined feature of the test liquid.

摘要： A method for determining the thickness of a plurality of coating layers. The method comprises the steps of performing a calibration analysis on calibration data to determine initial values and search limits of optical parameters of the plurality of coating layers, irradiating the plurality of layers with a pulse of THz radiation in the range from 0.01 THz to 10 THz, detecting the reflected radiation to produce a sample response derived from the reflected radiation, producing a synthesized waveform using the optical parameters and predetermined initial thicknesses of the layers, varying the thicknesses and the optical parameters within the search limits to minimize the error measured between the sample response and the synthesized waveform, and outputting the thicknesses of the layers.

摘要： A method of detecting a biomolecule, a computing device performing the method, and a biomolecule detection system therefor are provided. The method includes receiving a terahertz signal that passed deionized water or reference material, receiving a terahertz signal that passed a target including a predetermined biomolecule, extracting a digital modulation characteristic for the received terahertz signal that passed the deionized water and the received terahertz signal that passed the target, and detecting the predetermined biomolecule included in the target by analyzing the extracted digital modulation characteristic, wherein the received terahertz signal that passed the deionized water and the received terahertz signal that passed the target are generated using a digitally modulated optical signal based on a transmission speed determined based on kinematics of the predetermined biomolecule.

摘要： A system for detecting a surface type of an object includes a driver component, a driver component, and a plurality of photosensitive elements. The surface of the object is divided along a first direction into a plurality of areas, and the driver component sequentially moves one of the plurality of areas to a detection position. The light source component faces the detection position and provides light of a plurality of spectra that are different from one another to illuminate the detection position. The photosensitive elements face different sections of the area at the detection position, to capture detection images of different sections of the area located at the detection position under the light of each of the spectra. One photosensitive axis of the photosensitive elements is parallel to the normal line while another photosensitive axis of the photosensitive elements is between the normal line and the first direction.

摘要： A system for biomolecule identification by terahertz sensing, an asymmetric triple split-rectangular (ATSR) metamaterial biosensor, and a method for biomolecule identification by terahertz sensing are presented. The asymmetric triple split-rectangular (ATSR) metamaterial biosensor includes three gap areas which highly confine an electric field. The biosensor includes an E-shaped structure facing an inverted E-shaped structure with gaps between the respective legs. Each leg has a specially designed extension on either side which increases the electric field. A terahertz laser interrogates an analyte upon the metamaterial structure with a plurality of frequencies. The amplitude difference is estimated by an amplitude difference referencing technique. The amplitude difference is matched to a database record to identify the biomolecule analyte. The asymmetric triple split-rectangular (ATSR) metamaterial biosensor in combination with the amplitude difference referencing technique detects the type of biomolecule with a high degree of accuracy and requires only small analyte samples with sub-micron thicknesses.

摘要： The present application relates to an N×M terahertz detector array imaging system based on a multi-frequency antenna structure, wherein a single-frequency-point terahertz antenna used for receiving terahertz signals in a traditional detector is replaced with a multi-frequency-point terahertz antenna, thereby realizing that one detector supports the detection of multiple arbitrary different frequency points. The traditional detector needs to replace detectors with different frequency points for detection of different frequency points. The present application can design a multi-frequency-point terahertz antenna with arbitrary different frequency points according to actual needs, so that one detector can support the detection of multiple arbitrary different frequency points without the replacement of the terahertz detector, effectively reducing the cost of terahertz detection and imaging.

摘要： Disclosed is a transient-state THz spectrometer applied to cells and biological macromolecules, including a femtosecond laser amplifier. A femtosecond laser output by the femtosecond laser amplifier is divided into two beams of pump light and probe light after passing through a beam splitter of which a transmission-reflection ratio is 7:3, the pump light is focused to irradiate a gap between electrodes of a nonlinear photoconductive antenna and emit a terahertz wave after successively passing through a half wave plate, a silver-plated reflector and a first lens, the terahertz wave forms a terahertz wave collineation after successively passing through a second lens, a slab waveguide, a third lens and an ITO film, the terahertz wave collineation and the probe light form a probe light collineation of wavefront tilt which is perpendicularly incident on a ZnTe crystal and detected and recorded by using a CCD camera.
