摘要： An artificial neural network-based method for detecting a surface type of an object includes: receiving a plurality of object images, wherein a plurality of spectra of the plurality of object images are different from one another and each of the object images has one of the spectra; transforming each object image into a matrix, wherein the matrix has a channel value that represents the spectrum of the corresponding object image; and executing a deep learning program by using the matrices to build a predictive model for identifying a target surface type of the object. Accordingly, the speed of identifying the target surface type of the object is increased, further improving the product yield of the object.

摘要： The invention relates to a sensor system for checking a vein pattern. The sensor system comprises a first light source that is configured to emit during operation across the entire surface electromagnetic waves with wavelengths in the near infrared range, which are absorbed by hemoglobin. Furthermore, the sensor system comprises a second light source that is configured to emit during operation across the entire surface electromagnetic waves with wavelengths in the range of visible light. Furthermore, the sensor system comprises a camera with a first camera chip that is configured to record reflected electromagnetic waves with wavelengths in the near infrared range and to convert them into a corresponding infrared image, and with a second camera chip that is configured to record reflected electromagnetic waves with wavelengths in the range of visible light and to convert them into a corresponding photographic image. Finally, the sensor system comprises a first processor unit which is connected to the first camera chip and the second camera chip and which is configured to compare the photographic image with the infrared image, to determine the degree of matching between the photographic image and the infrared image and to classify the vein pattern as real if the degree of matching is less than a predetermined degree of matching, and to classify the vein pattern as not real if the degree of matching is greater than or equal to the predetermined degree of matching.

The output coupling region includes a second diffraction structure formed as a multiplex diffraction structure that outputs light at the first wavelength and the second wavelength range. The camera apparatus captures light output from the carrier medium to the camera apparatus, and provides the light in a form of image data which correlates with the light.

The device can have multiple photodiodes, each sensing light at a different position on a surface of the device that faces skin of a user. Examples of the disclosure detect hand gestures by recognizing patterns in sensor data that are characteristic of each hand gesture, as the tissue expands and contracts and anatomical features in the tissue move during the gesture.
