摘要： A motor control actuator that drives a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with sensorless Field Oriented Control includes a sampling circuit that generates a measurement signal by measuring a back electro motive force (BEMF) of the PMSM, while the PMSM rotates; a PLL that receives the measurement signal and extracts an amplitude and an angle of the BEMF from the measurement signal; and a motor controller that generates a first set of two phase alternating current (AC) voltage components based on an estimated rotor angle, generates a second set of two phase AC voltage components based on the amplitude and the angle, and generates control signals for driving the PMSM based on the first set of two phase AC voltage components. The motor controller performs a catch spin sequence for restarting the PMSM while rotating, the catch spin sequence includes a synchronizing period followed by a closed loop control period.

摘要： Example systems and processes control transition of an electric motor from open-loop operation to closed-loop operation by detecting zero-crossing (ZC) locations of the back-electromotive force (BEMF). The rotor angle of the electric motor is changed, e.g., by changing acceleration of the electric motor to correct a phase difference based on the detected ZC locations and an open-loop profile of the electric motor. Detected ZC locations may be used to identify ZC-detected-based commutation points, and each detected ZC location may be used to update a next commutation point. During the control process the open-loop profile is updated. Transition may occur when a set number of ZC-detection-based commutation points are sufficiently aligned with corresponding updated commutation points, or such alignment is maintained for at least one electrical cycle.

摘要： An angle shift compensation system and method for controlling a sinusoidally driven motor to achieve efficient motion and reduced noise. The motor controller uses the angle shift compensation method to monitor the angle shift between a sinusoidal motor control signal configured to drive the motor and a feedback signal received from at least one position detector indicating the position of the motor rotor with respect to the motor stator. In response, the motor controller proportionally adjusts the amplitude of the motor control signal based on the monitored angle shift to maintain the angle shift substantially equal to an angle shift threshold.

The drive motor includes a motor stator with stator coils and a motor rotor, and a control electronics system and a power electronics system which supply power to the stator coils with a predefined coil voltage and a predefined constant start-up rotation frequency to generate a rotating field to drive the motor rotor. The method includes supplying power to at least one stator coil with a coil voltage corresponding to a start value, increasing the coil voltage in steps, monitoring an electric current flowing through the power electronics system, and, when a specific minimum voltage drop is detected, terminating the increasing of the coil voltage in steps, and performing a safety increase of the coil voltage by increasing a start-up voltage value by a predefined safety value to a first operating voltage value where the motor rotor is drivable in an unregulated mode.

The lock energization control circuit includes: a first lock energization unit that controls the motor drive unit such that a magnitude of the lock current becomes a first predetermined value when first predetermined duration has elapsed after the lock energization duration is started; and a second lock energization unit that controls the motor drive unit such that the magnitude of the lock current becomes a second predetermined value smaller than the first predetermined value when the lock energization duration is terminated after the first predetermined duration has elapsed.

摘要： A method for operating a motor/compressor combination, especially for hermetically-encapsulated small refrigerating machines, comprises a compressor having a periodically operating displacement element, which is driven by a brushless motor (3). To start the motor, it is subjected to asynchronous and then synchronous commutation of its stator windings (7,8,9). For starting, the rotor is turned by asynchronous commutation from any given rest position to a starting position that facilitates running-up and is then started from that starting position. A motor/compressor combination for carrying out that method has a control arrangement (10) which, in asynchronous commutation, enables the current-application patterns to succeed one another in such a manner that the rotor is turned from the rest position to the starting position and is started therefrom. In that manner, the motor/compressor combination can be started reliably even in the event of unfavourable conditions.

The method comprises: controlling an electric motor to operate in an open-loop manner; determining whether a rotational speed of the electric motor reaches a preset rotational speed; if so, determining whether the absolute value of an angle difference between an open-loop angle and a calculated position angle of the electric motor is greater than a preset angle; and if the absolute value of the angle difference is less than or equal to the preset angle, controlling the electric motor to operate in a closed-loop manner so as to avoid the situation where the electric motor cannot operate stably due to problems such as electric motor speed vibration caused by too large an angle difference between the open-loop angle and the position angle.
