摘要： Capturing data packets for analysis using a virtual machine including receiving, at an analyzer virtual machine, an encapsulated packet for analysis, wherein the encapsulated packet comprises a monitoring metadata header and a data packet with a data packet header; stripping the monitoring metadata header from the encapsulated packet to obtain a de-encapsulated packet comprising the data packet with the data packet header; and directing, based on the data packet header, the de-encapsulated packet to a virtual network interface associated with a packet capture application within the analyzer virtual machine.

The centralized unit transmits sets of data to the plurality of remote units across the fronthaul network in packets, each of the sets of data mapped to at least one of the plurality of remote units and each of the packets including a respective indicator indicating each remote unit the associated packet is intended for, wherein each indicator comprises a plurality of bit positions where each bit position is mapped to a different one of the plurality of remote units. The entity performs the deep packet inspection on the packets to determine each remote unit the packets are intended for and communicate each packet to each remote unit the packet is intended for over the fronthaul network.

The network device may modify the second set of encrypted packets by replacing a first virtual destination address in the second set of the plurality of encrypted packets with a second virtual destination address that identifies a virtual tunnel endpoint of the second receiving network device. The network device may encapsulate and may send, based on the first virtual destination address and the second virtual destination address, individual encapsulated encrypted packets to the first receiving network device or the second receiving network device.

The embodiment may also involve a parsing and validation module configured to: (i) receive representations of the incoming or the outgoing messages, and (ii) perform one or more validation checks on the representations, wherein the representations define transactions that are functionally equivalent to corresponding transactions that are defined by the messages, wherein the one or more validation checks are performed in parallel to performance of the encapsulation or decapsulation, and wherein a representation of a message failing the one or more validation checks causes the message to be discarded.

摘要： Methods for dynamic forward proxy chaining are performed by systems and devices. A forward proxy server receives an electronic communication message that includes destination information in a header and payload information. Destination information includes an ordered set of subsequent destination identifiers associated with subsequent forward proxy servers and an ultimate destination identifier for the electronic communication message. The destination information in the electronic communication message is modified by the forward proxy server to generate a modified electronic communication message. Based on proxy operations performed by the forward proxy server, destination information is modified by removing destinations, adding destinations, altering ports for destinations, and other modifications. The forward proxy server establishes an electronic connection with a next destination based on the destination information or the modified destination information, and the modified electronic communication message is provided to the next destination by the forward proxy server via the electronic connection.

The generation number in a destination MAC address is updated when a reset event occurs. 摘要： Virtual application and desktop delivery may be optimized by supplying application metadata and user intent to the device between a client and a server hosting resources for the delivery. The data packets used to deliver the virtual application or desktop may be also tagged with references to the application. By supplying the metadata and tagging packets with the metadata, an intermediary network device may provide streams of data packets at the target QoS. In addition, the device may apply network resource allocation rules (e.g., firewalls and QoS configuration) for redirected content retrieved by the client out of band relative to a virtual channel such as the Internet. The network resource allocation rules may differ for different types of resources accessed. The device may also control a delivery agent on the server to modify communication sessions established through the virtual channels based on network conditions.
