    • The invention provides a jacket assembly (2) for a cartridge (40). The jacket assembly (2) is adapted to be received by a dispensing device (38). The jacket assembly (2.) comprises a body (4) having a first end (8), a second end (10), and a wall (12) extending therebetween. An alignment member (14) is located on the wall (12), the alignment member (14) being substantially rectilinear in shape.     • An emanation device comprises an emanation material container, an emanation section (20) and emanation material level indication means; wherein, the emanation material level indication means comprises control means and a temperature sensor (22), which is adapted to sense a temperature of a wick (18) of the emanation device, which wick (18) is adapted to transport emanation material from the emanation material container to the emanation section (20). Preferably, the dispenser comprises a reservoir, a wick with heater, a temperature sensor and a controlling unit. To determine the end-of-life of the fluid in the reservoir an increase in temperature of the wick (due to a decrease of the evaporation rate) beyond a certain threshold is measured by the temperature sensor. This signal is used by the controller to switch off the whole device or the heater and to give an indication to the user.
