In certain instances, when an image is acquired by a camera in an electronic device, rich metadata associated with the image and the image itself may be stored in one or more data repositories. Image and metadata collected may be analyzed by a local or a remote software application program. Metadata from one image may be used to identify other images of interest, analyzed for trends, or used in a simulator to re-create an experience.

摘要： The present invention relates to systems and methods for stitching and sharing panoramas. In one embodiment, a computerized mobile device downsizes a plurality of captured images. The mobile device transmits the downsized images to a server with a panoramic stitcher. The server analyzes the downsized images and generates stitching parameters for the mobile device. The mobile device uses the stitching parameters to stitch the plurality of captured images into a panorama which can be shared with one or more recipients.
