The infusion unit can include an infusion container for holding an infusion ingredient and an inner cap. The infusion unit can be sized to fit completely within the container body with the external cap in a sealed position. The infusion unit can be further configured to engage an interior surface of the container body to suspend the infusion container within the container body in a fixed position. The brewing pitcher can be configured such that fluid can be dispensed from the container body without requiring dispensed fluid to flow through the infusion unit when the infusion unit is positioned within the container body.

摘要： A drinking bottle assembly includes a lid assembly with a lid housing having a top wall, a flap rotatably coupled to the top wall, and a gasket secured to the flap. A drink opening extends through the top wall. A rim extends above the top wall. At least one notch is located in an inner surface of the rim. The flap includes a flexible portion or extension and at least one locking lug projecting from the flexible portion. The locking lug engages the at least one notch in a closed position. The flap is rotatable from the closed position to a fully open position. The gasket is configured to seal the drink opening in the closed position.

摘要： A method for brewing and chilling a brewed beverage such as tea includes brewing the beverage; combining the brewed beverage with a chilling medium; and covering the combined brewed beverage and chilling medium with an air-tight lid assembly to form an airtight seal. The combined brewed beverage and chilling medium may then be agitated. The airtight seal traps vapor generated from the beverage during the chilling, thereby causing the vapor to re-enter the beverage to maintain optimum flavor.
