Further, or in the alternative, the mix coefficient generation may preserve an intended direction of an input signal, for example, received at a surround input channel, in at least one output channel of the output signal. The mix coefficient values may be generated in a test downmixer environment. Additionally, one or more mix coefficients may be generated by retrieving predetermined mix coefficient values. Additionally, or in the alternative, one or more mix coefficients may be generated responsive to an input energy of a plurality of the input channels.

摘要： This invention provides a transducer (104) having at least two surrounds (300, 302) supporting a cylinder (104). With at least two surrounds, the transducer may handle more power. This increased power may be used to drive the voice coil (316) that is wrapped around the cylinder enabling a greater excursion range of the diaphragm (102). With a greater excursion range, the transducer may operate at low frequency as well as mid to high frequencies. The two surrounds may also be coupled to the cylinder increasing stability of the cylinder. With the two suspensions stabilizing the cylinder, the side-to-side movement of the cylinder may be reduced minimizing the chance of the voice coil short-circuiting with the other electrical and/or mechanical circuits in the transducer. In addition, the cylinder made a substantially rigid material may better support the two flexible surrounds so that the two surrounds do not induce wobbling in the diaphragm.

摘要： A digital sound processing design system for a vehicle audio system includes a computer and a design tool that is run by the computer. The design tool allows a user to define sound processing criteria that is stored in a template file. An audio signal processor is connected to the first and second real channel inputs of an audio source. Memory that is coupled to the audio signal processor stores the template file. The sound processing engine that is coupled to the audio signal processor and the memory reads the template file at run-time to obtain the sound processing criteria. The sound processing engine applies the sound processing criteria to the first and second real channel inputs. The design tool allows a user to create virtual channel inputs and outputs that are based, in part, on the first and second real channel inputs.
