A moire-effect winding assembly for an automatic timepiece movement includes an oscillating winding mass which is movable relative to the movement. The winding mass is to be mounted to rotate on an axis of the movement. Part of the winding mass forms a heavy part allowing the mass to oscillate in response to the movement of the timepiece and to the force of gravity. The assembly also includes an element that is stationary relative to the movement. The stationary element is arranged under the winding mass. The winding mass at least partly displaces above the stationary element. The stationary element includes a first relief pattern and the winding mass includes a plurality of through openings defining a second pattern, so as to create a dynamic moire effect when the winding mass displaces above the stationary element.

Celle (17) des roues coaxiales qui est mobile en direction axiale est fixée sur un axe coulissant (18) qui est monté de manière rotative et coulissante dans des paliers fixes (24, 25). Un ressort de rappel (26) comporte une lame élastique s'appuyant contre une extrémité de l'axe coulissant (18) pour tendre à mettre et maintenir en prise les dentures Breguet. Une telle construction permet de réduire les frottements et de gagner de la place. D'autres applications d'un tel dispositif de débrayage dans un mouvement de montre sont décrites.

A metal weldment and method of manufacturing the same in which the metal weldment is embedded in a concrete slab-type structural member. The weldment has a central plate having a planar, weldable surface along an edge of the concrete slab, the weldable surface is perpendicularly disposed to the horizontal plane of the concrete slab. There are a pair of outstanding arms extending from the weldable surface and which are embedded in the concrete slab. The outstanding arms have a constant height across their length and support a steel reinforcing mesh at a predetermined height during the concrete slab casting operation. A blockout is provided to the mold during the casting operation to keep the top edge and front surface of the weldable surface free and clear of concrete. This provides for thermal expansion of the weldable surface and minimizes cracking and spalling of the concrete during welding. The blockout is removed from the mold after the concrete has hardened and can be re-used.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of a watch coil and a generation coil and small-sizing and thinning by forming a generation coil thinner and longer than the clock coil and arranging it overlapping in plane at least a part of clock circuit. SOLUTION: A generation coil 29 is formed long in total length and thin in radial direction. By this, necessary turns are ensured without thinning the wire diameter, the radial dimension of whole coil can be made thin, the total length of the coil wire becomes shorter as a result and the impedance becomes small. Thus, the gear of a power generation rotor transmission wheel 25 and generation coil 29 are overlapped, gear outer diameter can be increased and an acceleration ratio sufficient for power generation can be ensured. Similarly, a part of clock circuit can be overlapped in plane to the generation coil 29 with relatively wide area and so this configuration is advantageous for plane layout in the case of small absolute area.
