摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of suppressing a change of the viscosity of printing ink with the elapse of time. SOLUTION: An ink chamber 8 storing volatile ink is formed in a hermetically closed state so as to make a pad plate 11 accessible with respect to the outside and inside of the ink chamber 8 and the entrance and exit 8a of the ink chamber 8 is closed in a hermetically closed state by a scraping blade 14 for scraping the excessive ink applied to the pad plate 11 and a solvent container 16 for housing a solvent which brings the ink chamber 8 to a saturated state by volatilized gas is inserted into the ink chamber 8.
