    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a pressure-side low speed damping force, a pressure-side high speed damping force, and an extension-side damping force from a tank side, with respect to improvement of a damper.SOLUTION: A damper D includes a working fluid chamber L formed in a cylinder 1 connected to a car body side at its basic end portion and filled with a working fluid, a piston rod 2 connected to a wheel side at its basic end portion and retractable to the working fluid chamber L, a reservoir R formed in a tank T connected to a basic end side of the cylinder 1 for storing the working fluid, a communication passage 3 communicating the working fluid chamber L and the reservoir R, and damping force generating means for applying prescribed resistance to the working fluid passing through the communication passage 3. The damper D further includes a low speed pressure-side damping adjustor A1 for changing a pressure-side low speed damping force, a high speed pressure-side damping adjustor A2 for changing a pressure-side high speed damping force, and an extension-side damping adjustor A3 for changing an extension-side damping force, and the low speed pressure-side damping adjustor A1, the high speed pressure-side damping adjustor A2, and the extension-side damping adjustor A3 are mounted at a tank side of the cylinder 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of protecting an oil seal by surely scraping off a foreign matter adhered to an inner tube without obstructing smooth movement of the inner tube relative to an outer tube.SOLUTION: To attain the purpose described above, according to problem solving means of the invention, a front fork F comprises: a fork body 1 having an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3 which is inserted in the outer tube 2 to be relatively movable in an axial direction; a damper D contained in the fork body 1 and suppressing relative movement between the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3; biasing means AS biasing the fork body 1 in an extension direction all the time; and an annular dust seal 4 and the oil seal 5 which are held by the outer tube 2 and slidingly contact the outer periphery of the inner tube 3. In the front fork, between the dust seal and the oil seal 5, a C-shaped scraper is provided for slidingly contacting the outer periphery of the inner tube 3.
