摘要： A system for determining a number of concurrent connections at a start time of a connection record is provided. The system provides connection records with each record having a start time and an end time. The system selects a connection record whose number of concurrent connections is to be determined. The system then identifies each connection record whose start time is less than or equal to the start time of the selected connection record and whose end time is greater than the start time of the selected connection record. The system sets the number of concurrent connections for the start time of the connection record to the number of identified connection records. The system also determines a time in which the number of concurrent connections is over a specified limit.

摘要： A conditioning apparatus for use in a CMP system is provided along with an associated method of operation. The conditioning apparatus includes rotation mechanics and oscillation mechanics. The rotation mechanics are capable of rotating a shaft which causes a holder and a conditioning substrate to be rotated. The oscillation mechanics are capable of moving a position of the shaft within a region defined by a peripheral boundary that is less than and within an outer periphery of the conditioning substrate. A conditioning substrate backing is also included in the conditioning apparatus. The conditioning substrate backing defines a differential pressure distribution that is capable of being applied to the conditioning substrate.

The trays are preferably made of economical, molded, lightweight, resilient, and machine-washable materials, such as polystyrene or other plastic. The trays may also be made of other materials, which when used in conjunction with covers, can help maintain the temperature of food at other than room temperature.

摘要： Cutting apparatus and methods are provided for cutting and trimming of flat materials, the invention incorporating an optical guide means for positioning of the flat material in a desired orientation. A laser device is positioned on a cutter to project a visual indication of the line of cut to be made by the cutting blade, and optionally along other lines such as to show a border or margin. Means are provided to power the laser device, and an optical element is provided to focus an emitted beam onto the cutter base, and any material placed thereon. Additionally the cutter includes a switching means for turning the laser device on and off. The switch can be mounted anywhere on the base or the cutting assembly. The cutter includes a cutting base for supporting the materials to be cut, a cutting blade assembly, and assistive cutting means such as a bottom blade on one edge of the base or a pad cooperating with the cutting blade to cut the flat material. The cutting blade can be of any type including, but not limited to, a guillotine blade and a rotary blade.

The deposit of chromium is applied by exposing the internal surface of the tubular metal body to an aqueous electrolyte solution at a current density and at a plating temperature sufficient to form a chromium deposit of desired thickness on the internal surface.
