    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cushion frame of a vehicle capable of promptly and stably absorbing collision energy, regardless of a shape of a partner side colliding portion upon load input from a vehicle side portion.
      SOLUTION: Front portions and rear portions of right and left side portion frames 9, 8 in a vehicular width direction are coupled by a front portion cross member 11 and a rear portion cross member 10 each other. The front portion cross member 11 and the rear portion cross member 10 are projected out to further outside of the side portion frame 8 on the outside in the vehicular width direction. A coupling portion 12 coupling projecting portions of the front portion cross member 11 and the rear portion cross member 10 is provided. The coupling portion 12 and the front and rear cross member 11, 10 are formed by bending a single pipe material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat device capable of certainly restricting an occupant and exactly suppressing a vehicle body side surface from intruding into a cabin at side surface collision.
      SOLUTION: The vehicle seat device is provided with a seat back side connection member 15 for connecting a side surface of the seat back and a side surface 3 of the vehicle body and a vehicle body side connection member 16. A connection point of the vehicle body side connection member 16 is arranged so as to be approximately coincident with a height position of a shoulder anchor point 13 and a connection point of the seat back side connection member 15 is arranged so as to be approximately coincident with height position of a vehicle width direction reinforcement member 12 for connecting an outer vertical frame 11 extending in a vertical direction independent from an upper frame 8 and a lower frame 9 extending in a vehicle width direction and constituting a seat back frame 7 arranged in the seat back and the vehicle width direction reinforcement member 12. The seat back side connection member 15 and the vehicle body side connection member 16 are made to the non-connection state at usual time and are made to the connection state at collision.

    • An adjustment drive of a motor vehicle seat is provided, the adjustment drive, having a control pinion. The control pinion, in the event of a collision, is subjected to a torque which acts from the structure of the motor vehicle seat. Overload protection is provided for an adjustment drive of a motor vehicle seat against forces which act in the event of a collision, using a simple device. This is achieved by the control pinion being rigidly connected to a torsion bar, and the control pinion is situated in an extension of the rotational axis of the control pinion, and free end of the torsion bar being integrated into a drive of the control pinion in a rotationally fixed manner.
