Zur Anpassung der Zusammensetzung des Gemisches (10) wird der Verbrennungsmotor (3) in einen von dem normalen Betriebszustand (I) abweichenden Sonderbetriebszustand (II) versetzt, wozu der Verbrennungsmotor (3) vom Benutzer zunächst gestartet wird.
