摘要： An aircraft seat assembly 10 comprising an ejection seat (20, fig 1A) which has a seat back 24, a survival kit 50 integrated into the seat back, a retention pin 70 and an actuator 86 interconnected with the pin. Activation of the actuator moves the retention pin from a retention position to a released position where the released position allows the survival kit to escape from the seat back. A method of operating an aircraft ejection seat with a survival pack in the seat back which involves retaining the survival kit in the seat back by keeping the retention pin in the retention position, activating an actuator to move the retention pin into the released position and releasing the survival kit from the seat back. The survival kit may attach to a parachute (38, fig3) at a different location to where a pilot attaches to it. The actuator may comprise; a pressurised fluid source (160,fig10) connected to the retention pin (142, fig10); a controller (110, fig8) electrically connected to the retention pin (102,fig7); a locking pin hole 72 which extends into a retaining pin 70, a locking pin 82 extending through hole 78 of a housing and into the locking pin hole.

摘要： A three-place aircraft divan configured to be installed side-facing in an aircraft and track between an upright sitting position and a berth position. Seat bottom and backrest portions of the divan are movably supported on a static frame and track together. 摘要： A rescue system for air emergencies, consisting of an ejector seat with a seat container (11) and a life raft (16), combined parachute, seat connection and attachment harness (14) packed therein, with at least one parachute packed in a casing, and an inflatable buoyancy member, a so-called life jacket (12), wherein between the life raft and the buoyancy member or harness there is provided a connecting line and alternatively a timing mechanism for the separation of the man from the seat container is provided, where if after baling out and separation of the man from the seat, the person is incapable of action or if any components are damaged, the system will operate automatically. For this, an automatically activated central unit (10) is proposed which is connected to the seat container (11) by an energy line (19) in order to initiate the separation of the man from the seat container and the inflation of the life raft, possibly in several stages, and furthermore is connected to the buoyancy member (12) via another energy line (21) in order to inflate this buoyancy member and is connected via a third energy line (23) to the closure (13) of the harness (14,15) in order to release the harness together with the parachute from the man, whilst at least one time control mechanism is provided to enable the parts of the system to be activated in the correct sequence. This has the advantage of substantially increasing the safety of the rescue operation.
