摘要： A recording and reproducing device for a magneto-optical card includes an optical head for irradiating a magneto-optical recording medium of a magneto-optical card placed into the device with a laser beam. A magnetic field generator applies a biased magnetic field to the magneto-optical recording medium, and an optical system manipulating mechanism for the optical system of the above-mentioned optical head varies the spot irradiated by the laser beam. The optical head is fixed to the main frame of the device. The magneto-optical card is also supported where it is irradiated by the laser beam emitted from the optical head. The magneto-optical card is moved in a plane parallel to the surface of the magneto-optical card for rough searching and then a part of or the whole magnetic field generator is moved to come into contact with the magneto-optical card to stop the vibration of the magneto-optical card. The spot to be irradiated by the laser beam is then varied by means of the optical system of the optical head.

摘要： Double sided optical memory disks are produced by dropping a viscous adhesive material hardenable by ultraviolet radiation at predetermined longitudinal intervals onto an elongated cloth material of uniform thickness thereby causing the adhesive material to become absorbed by and contained in the cloth material, thereafter placing this cloth material sandwichedly between two optical disk pieces each containing a recording layer, thereafter applying pressure between these pieces such that the sandwiching pieces remain separated uniformly by a predetermined separation distance, and thereafter applying ultraviolet radiation to and thereby hardening the adhesive material while the disk pieces are maintained at the uniform separation distance.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus for controlling a throttle valve driven by a D.C. motor in an internal combustion engine, in which the D.C. motor is driven until a valve position sensor detecting the angular position of the throttle valve generates an output signal which coincides with the output signal of an accelerator pedal sensor detecting the amount of depression of an accelerator pedal of a vehicle. The value of motor current required for causing very slight displacement of a return spring provided for returning the throttle valve toward a predetermined angular position is utilized for automatically compensating various factors of fluctuation attributable to friction, inertia, etc. of means driving the throttle valve. A small-capacity microprocessor is used to control the D.C. motor so that the throttle valve can operate with high accuracy and high-speed response capability without being adversely affected by changes in the operating condition as well as secular variations.
