    • The invention relates to the size reduction of an antenna using a magneto-dielectric material for a CRLH-TL (Composite Right/Left Handed Transmission Line) antenna. In particular, the invention provides a small and low profile metamaterial antenna attained by performing SRR (Split Ring Resonator) magnetization on a dielectric material and applying the magneto-dielectric material to the CRLH-TL antenna that is composed of patches and vias. Even further, the invention provides a metamaterial antenna using a magneto-dielectric material, the antenna comprising: a substrate which is made up of a magneto-dielectric material and which has an SRR structure inserted thereto; patches with a CRLH-TL structure formed at a predetermined distance above the substrate; and a ground plane formed at a predetermined distance below the substrate.

    • The present invention provides a multiple band antenna, including a first radiation element adapted to resonate at a first resonant frequency band by employing a resonant length, which is reduced by a coupling effect with a neighboring radiation element, a power feed unit coupled to one lower side of the first radiation element, a first inductor coupled in series to the other lower side of the first radiation element, a second radiation element adapted to face the first radiator to thereby obtain the coupling effect, wherein the second radiation element has a predetermined lower portion coupled to the first inductor, a second inductor having one end coupled in series to a predetermined upper portion of the second radiation element, and a third radiation element coupled to the other end of the second inductor, wherein the third radiation element operates as one radiation element together with the second radiation element and resonates at a second frequency band.

    • Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing an electronic component comprising a ferrite by sintering. The method comprises the steps of: adding 3 wt% of ammonium alginate to a ferrite to form a mixture, and stirring the mixture while adding water thereto to form a gel; drying the gel at a temperature ranging from 85 ° C to 95 ° C to form a dried material; grinding the dried material to produce a ferrite powder coated with the ammonium alginate; subjecting the ferrite powder to compression molding; and sintering the compression-molded ferrite powder. According to the method, by adding ammonium alginate to the ferrite, the cohesion of the ferrite can be enhanced to facilitate the molding of the ferrite. Also, the magnetic loss tangent of the ferrite can be reduced and the permeability thereof can be increased, thus increasing the efficiency of the ferrite.

    • Disclosed herein is an antenna comprising: a first dielectric element having a first slit formed thereon; a first radiator formed on the first dielectric element; a second dielectric element coupled to the first dielectric element in such a fashion as to be fit into the first slit of the first dielectric element; and a second radiator formed on the second dielectric element and coupled electrically with the first radiator through the coupling between the first dielectric element and the second dielectric element. The present invention provides an antenna which can maximize an electrical length thereof in a limited space, can be designed even in a three-dimensional space, and can be fabricated simply at low cost.

    • There is herein disclosed a multi-band antenna which can adjust respective frequency bands independently. The multi-band antenna comprises a first radiation element having a PIFA structure and a second radiation element having a monopole structure. Also, a second ground terminal is disposed at one end of the first radiation element so as to be connected to a ground plane through a capacitor. The adjustment of the capacitance enables an independent adjustment of a first frequency band. The second radiation element includes a stub so as to allow the second frequency band to be independently adjusted, and a first sub-element and a second sub-element which defines a slit therebetween so as to allow the third frequency band to be independently adjusted. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a multi-band antenna which can easily adjust respective frequency bands using multi-bands.
