    • Disclosed is an antenna having an antenna radiator formed by printing electrically conductive ink on a substrate. An antenna radiator according to an embodiment of the present invention is formed to the same thickness as a skin depth with respect to an operation frequency of the antenna. Therefore, an antenna can be fabricated using a small amount of electrically conductive ink while not reducing the gain of the antenna. Further, an antenna radiator according to another embodiment of the present invention is formed to the same thickness as a skin depth with respect to a predetermined frequency at a corresponding hot spot with respect to the frequency. Accordingly, an amount of electrically conductive ink used can be further reduced while maintaining the gain of the antenna.

    • The present invention discloses an antenna for ultra-wideband (UWB) communication having a band-stop characteristic. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the UWB antenna is a patch antenna employing microstrip feeding. In order to expand a bandwidth at a low frequency band, a stub is formed in a radiating element. Furthermore, since steps are formed in a ground plane, an antenna characteristic at an intermediate frequency band can be improved and a UWB characteristic can be obtained. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the UWB antenna is a patch antenna employing microstrip feeding and has a recess formed in the ground plane, thereby implementing the UWB characteristic. The antenna of the present invention has an inverse U-shaped slot formed in the radiating element, thus implementing the band-stop characteristic at the UNII band. In addition, the antenna of the present invention has includes a ground plane having a small area and has omnidirectional radiating patterns accordingly.

    • The present invention relates to a parallel-ring type antenna which is reduced in entire physical length, and has a wider bandwidth and a more excellent return loss, while having the same resonant point, by changing a loading portion of a retractable antenna employing a top-loading method that can easily secure the physical length of the antenna. Further, characteristics electrically similar to those of a helical antenna can be achieved by applying the parallel-ring type to the loading portion of the monopole termination. In addition, the entire length of an antenna can be reduced, while accomplishing the same resonance as that of the helical antenna, by employing a change in return loss according to a change in the thickness of the parallel ring, the distance between the rings, the diameter of the ring, and/or the length of the loading portion.

The present invention provides an antenna integrated with speaker comprising: an antenna carrier including an upper frame and a lower frame which are coupled to each other, the upper frame having a radiator mounted thereon; and a speaker mounted at the antenna carrier, wherein the speaker is coupled to a mounting hole formed at the lower frame through a coupling means from the outside of the antenna carrier. It is possible to obtain an effect of minimizing defect and loss of a speaker which may occur during the assembly of the antenna to thereby maximize efficiency of production.
