摘要： A palletiser (10) including a conveyor (11) for conveying objects (14-18) to be palletised to a loading region (27) and a palletising head (26) which is movable between the loading region (27) and a palletising region (28). The palletising head (26) is rotatable and has first and second movable abutments (35, 36) which are oriented generally perpendicular to each other. Each movable abutment (35, 36) is movable relative to and independently of the other movable abutment (35, 36) in a manner to maintain the generally perpendicular orientation between them. The movable abutments (35, 36) are operable to engage surfaces of one or more objects (14-18) to be palletised in the loading region (27), the surfaces being generally perpendicular to each other. Upon that surface engagement, the palletising head (26) is operable to shift the objects (14-18) from the loading region (27) to the palletising region (28) and to orientate the objects (14-18) through rotation of the palletising head (26) to adopt a selected pattern of objects in the palletising region (28).

摘要： A palletiser (10) including a conveyor (11) for conveying generally square or rectangular objects to be palletised towards a palletising head (26). The palletising head (26) is rotatable and includes an abutment arrangement for engaging side surfaces of objects to be palletised. The abutment arrangement comprises first and second abutment groups (31) and (32) which are spaced apart on opposite sides of a centre line C of the palletising head (26) and each of which includes two spaced apart abutments (33, 34) which are operable to engage side surfaces of an object to be palletised. The spacing between the abutment groups (31) and (32) is adjustable and the spacing between the abutments (33, 34) of each of the first and second abutment (31) and (32) groups is adjustable. Upon engagement of an object to be palletised by the abutment arrangement, the palletising head (26) is operable to orientate the object through rotation of the palletising head (26) in order to form a selected pattern of objects on a pallet.

摘要： The present invention relates to a package arranging system for arranging a plurality of package sets into a predetermined configuration. The package sets occupy respective ones of a plurality of second positions in the predetermined configuration. A positioning means is provided for positioning, when required, the package sets at respective ones of a plurality of first positions on a first transportation means. The first transportation means transports the package sets from the first positions along a plurality of first paths. A restraining means is provided for restraining the transport of the package sets along the first paths so that the package sets accumulate on the first transportation means at the second positions. The package sets are thereby collectively arranged into the predetermined configuration. A method for arranging the package sets and a simulation method for allowing a user to simulate the arranging of the package sets is also provided.
