    • A water skipping article for use by a user in launching the article in a substantially horizontal trajectory and with a specified rotation spin. The article includes a three-dimensional body constructed of a biodegradable material and having a smooth and continuous exterior surface with a substantially circular and smooth edged outer perimeter. The body further includes a side profile defined by upper and lower elliptically extending faces and which converge into the smooth profile of the circular outer perimeter. A hollowed, substantially elliptical and interior cavity is defined in substantially centric and suspended fashion within the body. Upon launching of the water skipping article by the user, the configuration of the interior cavity causes centrifugal forces to be applied in a direction towards the solid outer perimeter of the article and to thereby increase individual incidences of the article contacting the water surface in a skipping fashion.

    • The disclosed apparatus provides a universal wheeled cart for carrying electronic devices to be stress tested in a sealed environmental chamber in which the temperature is varied between high and low limits while the power to the electronic components is being turned on and off. The cart is configured to substantially fully occupy the insulated heated chamber which is provided with tracks for the wheels of the cart. In addition to a front access door for admitting the cart, the chamber is provided with a rear rectangular aperture through which a novel rectangular bustle mounted on the cart extends. The bustle support a plurality of connectors through which power is supplied to the electronic devices. Complementary power actuated electrical connectors are mounted in fixed relation to the rear aperture, and when actuated, all power connections to the electronic components are made through the bustle and standardized busses on the cart. A unique removable seal on the bustle provides an insulated closure for the rear aperture. The chamber is provided with conventional heating apparatus.

    • A control system for controlled exercise controls a functional electrical stimulation (FES) system which applies electrical signals to muscle groups of a user such as a user having a disability; the user exercises on a motor driven exercise machine such that substantially isokinetic exercise during a movement is obtained as the user's body part moves with a motor driven displaceable element of the machine. This element provides resistance to applied displacement load from the user's stimulated muscles. A feedback control system receives signals indicative of the user's performance and a control arrangement controls electrical stimulation to the user's muscles to achieve a desired exercise regime.
