摘要： An illuminating light switch with an integrated sliding member that, when actuated by a user, exposes led lighting elements to illuminate the area where the light switch is affixed. The light switch includes a front member having a light aperture aligned with a light source, a rear member with a first mounting member affixed, a second mounting member adapted to be coupled to both a support surface and the first mounting member, and an internal switch to selectively supply current to the light source. In the closed position, the sliding member obscures the light source and no current is supplied to the light source. In the intermediate position, the sliding member partially exposes a first extent of the light source that provides illumination through the light aperture. In the open position, the sliding member exposes a second extent of the light source to provide a greater amount of illumination through the light aperture.

摘要： A multi-purpose, hand-held flashlight has an elongated body with a front body portion having a bottle opener and a front engaging structure. The rear body portion includes a second substantially cone shaped extent that includes a recessed cutting element. 摘要： A portable light bulb system includes a bulb that is removably coupled to a mounting bracket affixed to a support surface. The bulb includes an internal battery power supply and a LED light engine. A base of the bulb has a diameter sized to prevent the base from being inadvertently inserted into a conventional 110 volt electrical light bulb socket. The system also includes a wireless module communication device configured to wirelessly communicate with the bulb. In a first use position, operation of the bulb provides illumination to a region proximate the mounting bracket affixed to the support surface. An operator can disconnect the bulb from the bracket and bring the bulb to a second use position where operation of the bulb provides illumination to the second region. The operator can then return the bulb to the bracket at the first use position, or bring the bulb to yet another location for illumination.

摘要： A portable lantern light is configured to be operated in a range of selectable operational modes to provide flexible illumination solutions in both stationary and portable situations. The lantern light includes an elongated central body with a plurality of external longitudinal ribs, longitudinal channels positioned between a pair of external ribs, a lighting element residing within the channel, and a lens overlying the lighting element that acts as a primary optic. A power source that includes a battery cartridge is removably inserted within a receiver of the central body. 摘要： The invention provides a portable lighting device with an elongated main body that includes a housing with receiver, and a power source positioned within the receiver. An operational mode selector assembly with a switch assembly that is actuated by a user is operatively coupled to the power source. An illumination assembly is electrically coupled to both the operational mode selector and the power source. The illumination assembly has a primary light source with a light emitter that emits light axially along a longitudinal axis of the main body or housing through a lens. A secondary light source with a light emitter emits light substantially perpendicular to the axis to illuminate an indicia located in a side region of the illumination assembly. During operation of the portable lighting device, the components of the illumination assembly are arranged such that: (i) the primary light source does not illuminate the indicia, (ii) the secondary light source does not emit light through the lens, (iii) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the primary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the secondary light source within the portable lighting device, and (iv) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the secondary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the primary light source within the portable lighting device.
