摘要： A multi-purpose, hand-held flashlight has an elongated body with a front body portion having a bottle opener and a front engaging structure. The elongated body also includes a rear body portion with a rear engaging structure that is cooperatively dimensioned to interact with the front engaging structure to releasably couple the front body portion to the rear body portion. The rear body portion includes a second substantially cone shaped extent that includes a recessed cutting element. A lighting element assembly is disposed within the elongated body and includes a lighting element printed circuit board coupled to an emitter assembly, a power source, and a switch. The switch is configured to change the operational mode of the emitter assembly. An attachment mechanism is coupled to the second extent of the rear body portion.

摘要： A portable light bulb system includes a bulb that is removably coupled to a mounting bracket affixed to a support surface. The bulb includes an internal battery power supply and a LED light engine. A base of the bulb has a diameter sized to prevent the base from being inadvertently inserted into a conventional 110 volt electrical light bulb socket. The system also includes a wireless module communication device configured to wirelessly communicate with the bulb. In a first use position, operation of the bulb provides illumination to a region proximate the mounting bracket affixed to the support surface. An operator can disconnect the bulb from the bracket and bring the bulb to a second use position where operation of the bulb provides illumination to the second region. The operator can then return the bulb to the bracket at the first use position, or bring the bulb to yet another location for illumination.

摘要： The invention provides a portable lighting device with an elongated main body that includes a housing with receiver, and a power source positioned within the receiver. An operational mode selector assembly with a switch assembly that is actuated by a user is operatively coupled to the power source. An illumination assembly is electrically coupled to both the operational mode selector and the power source. The illumination assembly has a primary light source with a light emitter that emits light axially along a longitudinal axis of the main body or housing through a lens. A secondary light source with a light emitter emits light substantially perpendicular to the axis to illuminate an indicia located in a side region of the illumination assembly. During operation of the portable lighting device, the components of the illumination assembly are arranged such that: (i) the primary light source does not illuminate the indicia, (ii) the secondary light source does not emit light through the lens, (iii) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the primary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the secondary light source within the portable lighting device, and (iv) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the secondary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the primary light source within the portable lighting device.

A power source that includes a battery cartridge is removably inserted within a receiver of the central body. The lantern light includes an operating mode selector assembly to control which lighting elements are illuminated during operation of the portable lantern light, and a luminosity selector assembly to selectively control the lumen output (brightness) of the lighting elements. The lantern light also includes a retractable stabilization assembly that can be deployed to stabilize the light on a support surface.

摘要： A portable lighting device having multiple mounting features providing multiple mounting configurations allowing for hands-free lighting in various situations and locations. The portable lighting device comprises a housing with (i) a front bezel configured to receive a primary optic; (ii) a central support having a securement means and a peripheral segment configured to receive an extent of a cap of a bottle; and, (iii) a rear body having a multi-positional assembly, a coupling means residing within the multi-positional assembly, and a mounting means. The lighting device also includes an illumination assembly having a light source configured to emit light beyond the housing to illuminate a surrounding area, and a power source disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the illumination assembly. The multi-positional assembly is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. In the retracted position, the multi-positional member resides against a rear wall of the rear body and the multi-positional member is flush with and does not extend rearward beyond the coupling means. In the deployed position, the multi-positional member extends at angle from the rear body to support the lighting device in a desired support angle α relative to a support surface.
