    • An object of the present invention is to provide a three-monomer-based water-soluble copolymer, obtained from an unsaturated monocarboxylic monomer, an unsaturated dicarboxylic monomer, and an unsaturated alcoholic monomer, wherein the water-soluble copolymer can sufficiently exercise excellent performances particularly when used for detergent builders, detergent compositions, water-treating agents, and dispersants.
