    • A searching order control portion has a searching order table for a memory pool having sub-memory pools. The searching order table has entries in which request memory area size ranges and corresponding searching orders are entered. The searching order control portion finds the sub-memory pool that should be searched for an assignable memory area by the use of the searching order table in response to a request of a getting request receiving portion. The searching order control portion notifies a sub-memory pool ID of the found sub-memory pool to the getting request receiving portion. The getting request receiving portion makes a getting portion try getting a memory area with request memory area size from the sub-memory pool of the sub-memory pool ID. The getting request receiving portion repeats the above-mentioned operation until the getting portion gets the memory area or the searching order control portion notifies the end of search.

    • An improved hot wire gas flow sensor is disclosed having a housing with a passageway in series with a passageway through which the gas flow is measured. The housing includes both a hot wire and cold wire disposed within the passageway. A current circuit maintains the temperature differential between the hot wire and cold wire preferably in the range of 30° C. to 100° C. by varying the current flow through the hot wire. Current limiting circuitry is then utilized to limit the current flow through the hot wire and thus the temperature of the hot wire in order to prevent possible combustion of the gas in the passageway. Additionally, a current augmenting circuit augments the current flow through the hot wire for a limited period of time following the electrical energization of the flow sensor in order to provide rapid heat up of the hot wire in the hot wire sensor. Improvements are also disclosed for fluidly sealing the electrical leads to both the hot wire and cold wire to prevent gas leakage from the sensor.

    • The method of the present invention is an update method of a software which is stored in a rewritable non-volatile memory of a communication terminal and is directly executed. The method comprises: an update file transfer step in which an update software is transferred to the communication terminal from a software management server for managing the update software which is to be stored in the rewritable non-volatile memory as an update file, and the update file is stored in a rewritable volatile memory of the communication terminal; and an update software rewriting step in which the software, which is stored in the rewritable non-volatile memory and is directly executed, is rewritten with the update software stored in the rewritable volatile memory as the update file after the update file transfer step.
