    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water spray heat exchanging method for a gentle gradient folded plate roof for positively forming puddles of a heating medium on the upper surface of a ridge by virtue of a small surface area of the ridge, even if the amount of the heating medium supplied to the same is small, and flowing the heating medium to inclined side surfaces of the ridge while melting snow accumulated on the top of the ridge. SOLUTION: According to the method, by covering areas from the inclined side surface of the ridge to a roofing material joint portion and from the roofing material joint portion to the opposite inclined side surface, with strips 5 having water absorbing properties, and by bonding the strips to a roof substrate, a slope extending from the roofing material joint portion to both the inclined side surfaces is formed for making the heating medium flow. Then a slender running-water bag 6 in which the heating medium flows is formed on the upper portion of the roofing material joint portion, and fixed to the strips, and the heating medium discharged from a water spraying means on a running-water bag upstream side and flowing in the running-water bag is allowed to pass through a running-water wall surface and then to overflow beyond the strips on both sides of the running water bag. Further the overflowing heating medium is impregnated into the strips to be diffused, and then flowed downward along the slope, to thereby drain the heating medium collected at a valley of the folded-plate roof along the valley.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of unevenness of wetting which is easily caused because a roof becomes a shield in sprinkling of a heating medium in an oblique direction to an uneven surface of the roof and the problem of large discharging loss to the atmosphere because particles fly in the outside air. SOLUTION: A liquid absorbing material (3a) is adhered to an inclined side surface of a protruded part which forms a ridge of a folded plate roof with a gentle slope and an enclosure (2a) is formed on an upper side surface of the protruded part by setting a partition at an edge of the protruded part. The heating medium is supplied to the enclosure through water spray means (A1-9) and the heating medium which moves slowly stagnates in the enclosure to form pool of the heating medium. The heating medium is made to flow out to an inclined side surface of the ridge from an orifice (2b) in the enclosure, and is allowed to flow down toward a valley part (5) of the ridge from the position of the enclosure while being held and dispersed in the liquid absorbing material which covers the inclined side surface, and the heating medium is moved in the direction of crossing the valley by inertia to carry out heat exchange between the heating medium and the folded plate roof. A large amount of the heating medium is discharged toward the downstream side from discharging means (B1-3) of the heating medium at the upperstream side of the valley part of the ridge, and a surface of a valley part is washed by the discharging water.
