    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL illumination system in which required power can be supplied with high accuracy by controlling a power control circuit efficiently while simplifying the whole circuit even when there are a plurality of power control circuits, and to provide a control method of an organic EL illumination system.SOLUTION: The organic EL illumination system comprises a plurality of power control circuits (10R, 10G, 10B) provided to correspond with each luminous unit group of luminous color common to respective light-emitting units, power supply switching circuits (SWr, SWg, SWb) which supplies power while switching the luminous units every lighting period determined by dividing a control period, electric energy operation means (12) for determining a target electric energy to be supplied to each luminous unit, and control means (12) for performing power supply control by performing feedback control of at least one of the current and the duty ratio being output from each power control circuit so that the power supplied to each luminous unit of a luminous unit group corresponding to the power control circuit becomes the target power, based on a current detected by the current detection means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface lighting system that easily controls light emission of a plurality of surface lighting devices in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A surface lighting system includes: a plurality of light emission units (2) classified under a reference unit that is an arbitrarily preselected light emission unit and a subordinate unit; light emission control means; and system control means for control the lighting of the reference unit. At least one subordinate unit is a first subordinate unit whose master is the reference unit, and a subordinate unit adjacent to the first subordinate unit is a second subordinate unit.
