摘要： Systems and methods for a lavatory system (10) are described that include a bidirectional hand dryer (50) having a top, bottom, back, and right side and multiple sensors and LEDs. Upper and lower nozzles (160a, 160b) are also provided and respectively connected to upper and lower plenums (142, 144). At least two flexible air delivery hoses are connected to the plenums (142, 144). A motor housing (70) is provided and includes a motor (74), ports connected to the hoses, noise abatement features, and a motor microcontroller (99). A hand-receiving cavity (52) exists between the top, back, right, and bottom side for receiving at least one hand (166) of a user. Tips (162a) are connected to the nozzles (160a, 160b) and emit high speed colliding columns of air to shear water off of the user's hand (166). The columns of air are spaced and calibrated in such a way as to reduce forces on the user's hand which would otherwise move the hand toward the side surfaces.

摘要： A multi-purpose hand washing station is disclosed that includes a hand dryer attached to a basin. The hand dryer includes a top air plenum and a bottom air plenum. A grid molded into each air plenum provides structural support to the plenums. Both the top and bottom air plenums include a plurality of air outlets that direct pressurized air from a blower for hand drying. An air hose that supplies pressurized air to the bottom air plenum includes a water trap that prevents water from flowing into the air outlets, down the air hose, and to the blower. A soap dispenser mounted on the basin dispenses liquefied soap for hand washing and is refillable by opening a lid on the soap dispenser and pouring liquefied soap into a funnel insert where it travels through a fill port into a reservoir.

摘要： A lavatory system including a countertop and a first hand washing station is provided. The first hand washing station includes a basin supported by the countertop and a faucet supported by the countertop. The lavatory system also includes a hand dryer including a housing supported by the countertop. The housing defines a cavity in which a user's hands are inserted during drying, and a motor configured to generate blown air which is supplied to the cavity. The housing is located such that the user's hands may be inserted into the cavity without the user leaving the first hand washing station.

摘要： A hand washing station in communication with a drain conduit is disclosed. The hand washing station includes a sink (122), a narrow channel (138), and a drain adapter (210). The sink has a first side wall (130), a second side wall (132), a rear side wall (134) extending between the first and second side walls, and a bottom wall (136). Together the first side wall, the second side wall, the rear side wall, and the bottom wall define a sink area (126). The narrow channel has a bottom wall (140) and a pair of side walls (142, 144), and is positioned in the hand washing station adjacent to the rear wall of the sink. Further, the channel is open at the top to receive water from the sink area. The bottom wall of the channel includes a non-circular drain opening (128), and is angled downwardly toward the non-circular drain opening such that the depth of the channel increases toward the non-circular drain opening. The drain adapter (210) is fastened to the sink to connect the non-circular drain opening to the circular shape of the drain conduit, allowing water to flow from the channel to the drain conduit.
