    • An improved refrigeration and heating system comprising a thermochemical device, and a mobile service cart. The thermochemical device is capable of refrigerating or cooling the ambient air due to an internal chemical process. This same chemical process also produces a significant amount of heat as a by-product which, if left alone, would normally be vented or released in to the atmosphere and become lost. However because the theremochemical device is disposed at the center of the cart, the heat which is generated by the cooling process is retained and utilized to provide a separate heating area within the cart. This allows the current system to operate as a closed loop, meaning that the cart and thermochemical device work in conjunction to form a self-sustaining hot and cold storage area with very little maintenance or input from a user.

    • A pellet warming system (1) includes a charging unit capable of warming a plurality of pellets contemporaneously. Each of the plurality of pellets comprise an internal heating element (30) which resistively heats the body of the pellet from a regulated electrical current that is provided from the charging unit. The system comprising a plurality of power pins (31), a filament coupled to the power pins and thermally coupled to the top surface, a plurality of loop pins (5) and a pair of guide pins (6,7). The charging unit also comprises a controller board with means to control the duration of electric current supplied to each of the pellets as well as means for cycling electrical current to each of the pellets in order to maintain the resistively generated heat. The charging unit further comprises means for a user to connect their PC to the controller board in order to alter its internal programming and view its operational history.

    • A shelving system includes a plurality of pultruded vertical posts (12) and horizontal traverses (14). The horizontal traverses are coupled to the vertical posts by means of a bifurcated collar (50) that are placed on each vertical post. Each horizontal traverse includes an end piece (74) which is configured to couple to both halves of the bifurcated collar. Each half of the bifurcated collar comprises a wedge shaped design such that when a load is placed on the traverse, forces are applied to the bifurcated collar that squeezes each half of the collar together more tightly around the vertical post. The traverses may be coupled to one or both sides of the vertical post to allow the shelving system to be extended as far as the user desires in any lateral direction. The shelving system may also be extended in a perpendicular or other angular direction by means of a wedge shaped corner connector.
