摘要： A method and apparatus for producing a plastic film having strips of an adhering material embedded in each surface of the film, which film may have an anti-block agent incorporated therein, and a composite plastic film so produced is provided which includes initially providing a first stream of heat plastified extrudable thermoplastic film material to a cast film die. The cast film die has two opposing die lips with each die lip having a plurality of spaced strip channels. The strip channels of one die lip are laterally offset from the strip channels of the second die lip. A heat plastified extrudable adhering material is introduced into the plastified film material from the strip channels and then the composite body of materials is forced from the die lips of the cast film die and cooled to form the plastic film.

摘要： A reclosable fastener assembly includes first and second elongated closure elements that are engageable to form a seal. A slider is slidable relative to the closure elements between an open position and a closed position and is adapted (i) to engage the closure elements to one another when moved across the closure elements toward the closed position and (ii) to disengage the closure elements from one another when moved across the closure elements toward the open position. The slider carries a first partial indicator. A second partial indicator is located relative to the closure elements so as to complement the first partial indicator to form a visual indicator when the slider is in the closed position.

The rope-like fumigants are sufficiently sturdy thick, or tightly twisted or braided that they can be generally vertically positioned without drooping at their top, even though they are considerably elongated. The rope-like fumigants are loaded with an insecticide, fragrance, or the like, and lit from the top. Very low cost materials such as jute, hemp, or the like form the base material for the fumigant. A holder is disclosed which retains the rope-like fumigant in a vertical position from its lower portion, while reducing the incidence of the fumigant's prematurely extinguishing. A method of controlling insects by use of the fumigant is also disclosed.

When the container is empty, the container is removed and replaced in order to allow the device to be used in a generally continuous manner for cleaning and polishing the surface. The disposable pad connected to the device may also include a cleaning surface capable of picking up dust, dirt and other debris in addition to applying the polishing and cleaning solutions to the surface.
