      SOLUTION: Movement target points P on a tip side of a guide shell and movement target points K on a rear side of the guide shell are marked on a monitor 2. At this time, a light-emitting body 25 is attached to the tip side of the guide shell so that an object can be recognized on the monitor 2 to keep track of coordinates of the light-emitting body 25 on the monitor and to specify directional vectors in a camera coordinate system. A spatial line U passing through an installation point of the camera and oriented toward the tip side of the guide shell is assumed on the basis of the directional vectors in the camera coordinate system. A length L of a vertical line from the movement target point P on the tip side of the guide shell down to the spatial line U is displayed on a screen of the monitor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize and improve surveying accuracy by eliminating surveying error accumulation as well as dispersing errors.
      SOLUTION: A method for surveying a position coordinate comprises a first step for surveying local coordinates of three reference points whose global coordinates are known beforehand by a surveying instrument 1 installed at any angle and any point, a second step for determining a rotational matrix and a translation vector used as coordinate conversion parameters based on a geometric relationship between the local coordinates and the global coordinates, a third step for determining by a least square method a corrected rotation matrix and a corrected translation vector which minimize a total sum of errors between coordinates obtained by converting the local coordinates of the reference points into global coordinates and the global coordinates of the reference points using the rotation matrix and the translation vector, and a fourth step for surveying a local coordinate of a surveying point by the surveying instrument and determining a global coordinate of the surveying point by converting the local coordinate into the global coordinate using the corrected rotation matrix and the corrected translation vector.
