摘要： Two symmetrically arranged pairs of rollers support the rotating surface of a rotary furnace, and each pair of rollers is supported on the respective ends of a beam. The beam is pivoted about an axis parallel to the axes of the rollers on a bearing with a cylindrical gliding surface whose axis is perpendicular to the plane passing through the axis of the rotating surface of the furnace and the pivoting axis of the beam. A support for the bearing has a cylindrical gliding surface complementary to the gliding surface of the bearing.

摘要： 1329897 Cooling cement clinker FIVES LILLE-CAIL 19 April 1971 [10 Feb 1970] 22753/71 Heading F4B Cement clinker discharged from a rotary kiln 2 is cooled in a rotary cooler 4 provided with a series of planetary cooling tubes 8, the shell of said cooler being initially lined with refractory 5, followed by lifters 7 in an unlined shell portion, then by screening grids 9 leading through shoots 15 into the planetary coolers and finally by a crusher 11 disposed in front of a partition 13 and crushing material initially too large to pass through said grids 9. The tubes 8 are unlined and are equipped with lifters 16, discharge apertures 20 feeding a reception hopper 17 in which is a conveyer (10, Fig. 4). The unlined portion of the cooler shell and most of the unlined surface of the tubes 8 are cooled by air supplied by fans 31 within a casing 30 having a valve controlled outlet 32. The rotational speed of the cooler and the opening of valve 32 or delivery of fans 31 may be controlled so as to keep the temperature of secondary combustion air supplied to the kiln at a fixed value and the temperature of the discharged cooled material within suitable limits.
