摘要： A vibration isolation system for attenuating vibration energy between two aircraft structures, such as between the aircraft's fuselage and interior cabin. The vibration isolation system includes a first isolator attached to the first structure, a second isolator attached to the second structure, and an intermediate mass attached between the first and second isolators. The intermediate mass may be electrical cables, wiring bundles, a cable holder, or other component disposed between the two structures. Cable holder intermediate masses can be fabricated from an electrically conductive material to provide electromagnetic interference shielding for cables disposed therein. Multiple vibration isolation systems can be disposed between the fuselage and interior cabin to provide a less noisy cabin. Additional noise and vibration suppressors, such as skin damping material and acoustic blankets, also can be disposed between the fuselage and interior cabin to further reduce noise in the interior cabin.

摘要： Embodiments of thermal-acoustic sections for an aircraft for reducing noise along an acoustic path produced from an acoustic source are provided herein. The thermal-acoustic section comprises a first porous layer having a first characteristic acoustic impedance. A second porous layer is disposed adjacent to the first porous layer and has a second characteristic acoustic impedance that is greater than the first characteristic acoustic impedance. The thermal-acoustic section is configured to be positioned along the acoustic path such that at least a portion of the noise from the acoustic source is directed through the first porous layer to the second porous layer to promote absorption of the noise.

摘要： An outflow valve assembly (10) and methods for installing an outflow valve assembly on an aircraft (14), are provided. In one example, an outflow valve assembly includes a louver (32) that is movably disposed to at least partially cover an opening formed through a fuselage (16) on an aircraft (14). A motor (40) is coupled to the louver and is configured to move the louver between a closed position to obstruct fluid communication through the opening and an open position to allow fluid communication through the opening between inside and outside of the aircraft. A sound absorptive panel (24, 26, 28, 30) is disposed adjacent to the opening to attenuate noise that is generated when the louver is in the open position.

摘要： The pilot communication system employs an acoustic transducer (14) disposed on the flight deck (10) and positioned to emit sound waves in the direction of the at least one pilot seating location (20). A modulator circuit is coupled to receive an audio signal from the avionics communication system (16) and is also coupled to drive the acoustic transducer (14). The modulator circuit supplies to the acoustic transducer (14) an electrical signal having an ultrasonic carrier frequency modulated by the audio signal, thereby causing the acoustic transducer to deliver a beam (22) of ultrasonic acoustic energy, through the acoustic space, in the direction of the at least one pilot seating location (20), which beam (22) of ultrasonic acoustic energy is demodulated naturally by traversal through air molecules between the transducer (14) and the pilot seating location (22), thus rendering the audio signal audible by human hearing at the at least one pilot seating location (22).

摘要： The interactive aircraft cabin environment control system employs at least one microphone array disposed within the cabin to capture spoken utterances from a passenger and is configured to provide an estimation of passenger location within the cabin based on arrival time analysis of the spoken utterances. A data source onboard the aircraft provides flight context information. Such data sources include sensors measuring real-time parameters on the aircraft, the current flight plan of the aircraft, singly and in combination. A control processor, coupled to the microphone array, is configured to ascertain passenger identity based on the spoken utterances. The control processor is programmed and configured to learn and associate passenger preference to passenger identity. The control processor is receptive of the estimation of passenger location and is coupled to provide supervisory control over at least one device forming a part of the cabin environment according to passenger location, passenger preference obtained from passenger identity and flight context information.

In one example, the interior panel includes a first relatively hard layer having a first surface that is configured to receive noise from the interior and a second surface that is disposed opposite the first surface. The first relatively hard layer has micro-perforated holes that are formed therethrough and that are spaced apart from each other. A second layer is disposed adjacent to the second surface and has a plurality of openings that are in fluid communication with the plurality of micro-perforated holes. A third layer is disposed adjacent to the second layer. The first relatively hard layer, the second layer, and the third layer are cooperatively configured to attenuate the noise.
