摘要： A hydraulic servo for a brake in an automatic transmission has a piston secured against rotation without provision of a protrusion on the piston engaging the transmission casing. The piston of the hydraulic servo has an inner cylindrical surface configured to grasp, along their lengths, return springs compressed between the piston and a return plate to which the return springs are fixed. The return plate is bolted to a bulkhead portion of the transmission case and, thus, the piston member is fixed to the bulkhead portion and thereby prevented from rotating.

摘要： The present invention provides an automatic transmission having a main bearing disposed between the inner surface of a boss portion of a first drum and the outer surface of a cylindrical support, for rotatably supporting the first drum. An auxiliary bearing is press-fit into one end of the interior of the boss portion of the first drum and surrounds the cylindrical support with an annular gap therebetween. The auxiliary bearing contacts the cylindrical support only when the first drum tilts relative to the central axis of the transmission, and has a shorter axial length than that of the main bearing.

A micromechanical electrostatic resonator of exemplary embodiments includes a plate-shaped vibration body, a pair of electrodes arranged oppositely to each other at both sides of the vibration body with a gap from an outer circumferential portion of the vibration body, a feeding device to apply in-phase alternating-current power to the pair of electrodes, and a detecting device to obtain an output corresponding to a change in capacitance between the vibration body and the electrodes. The planar shape of the vibration body takes a shape having a curved outline which comprises a neck portion.

The ophthalmic composition containing a terpenoid improves, for example, the wettability of SCL, thereby to inhibit decrease in the water content of SCL. As a result, it can inhibit a dry feeling and an uncomfortable feeling during wearing SCL and is useful for enhancing the wettability of SCL. Further, addition of polyoxyethylene sorbitan ester leads to the inhibition of adsorption of terpenoid onto SCL.

The photochromic compound according to the present invention is expressed by the following general formula (I): where each of A1, A2 and A3 is a five-member rings forming a 6π-electron system, the three rings being identical, partially identical or totally different from each other, and each ring may have a substituent; B1 and B2 are functional groups, each having an atomic number of five or larger, including a ring compound, and bonded to the 2-carbon of each of A2 and A3, respectively; and R1, R2 and R3 are substituents identical to or different from each other. This compound is highly colorable and durable even when it is dispersed into plastic macromolecular materials. Therefore, it is suitable as a dye material for sunglasses or similar products.

Therefore, the present invention provides an agent for contact lenses having superior bacteriocidal effect and cleaning effect, which can be used safely and with ease for various contact lenses inclusive of soft contact lenses.
