    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure water cut-off performance even in a pipe having a small groove in an outer circumferential face such as a spiral pipe.
      SOLUTION: The rubber ring 10 includes a compressing part 40 and a lip part 42, and a plurality of recessed parts 46 are scatteredly formed on an inner circumferential face of the compressing part 40. By forming the recessed parts 46, a protruding part 48 is continuously formed between axial both end parts and each recessed part 46. In a rubber ring junction, the protruding part 48 is closely contacted to an outer circumferential face of the spiral pipe and the groove 22. Water from inside the pipe can pass the lip part 42 through the groove 22 but since the groove 22 is cut off by the protruding part 48, it can not advance in the groove 22 and it is accumulated in the recessed parts 46. Intrusion of water from outside the pipe is blocked by the protruding part 48 closely contacting the outer circumferential face of the pipe 14 and the groove 22.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a rubber ring connection to pipes made of a polyolefin resin which tends to have turn of a rubber ring.
      SOLUTION: The rubber ring installed on a rubber ring receiving part 12 of a rubber ring socket 10 includes a compressing part 14b received in a rubber ring receiving part 12 and a lip 14a extending from the compressing part 14b in the insertion direction of a spigot. A holding member 16 is fixed on the insertion side of the spigot of the rubber ring receiving part 12 to compress and retain the compressing part 14b of the rubber ring 14 between the same and the rubber ring receiving part 12. The holding member 16 prevents the rubber ring 14 from moving in the spigot insertion direction in the rubber ring receiving part 12. Consequently, turnoff the rubber ring 14 in the rubber ring receiving part 12 is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely eliminate the chips by threading a screw part of an extruder with a screw hole of a hole saw, and after a tip of the extruder abuts on the chips, pushing the screw part more into a deep hole.
      SOLUTION: A screw part 2a of an extruder 1 is threaded with a screw hole 18 of a hole saw 19 exposed by eliminating a shank, and a grip part 3 is rotated so as to insert the screw part 2a into the hole saw 19, and a tip 2b of a screw rod 2 abuts on a bottom surface of the chips 25. In this condition, the grip part 3 is rotated more in the progressing direction so that the screw part 2a is inserted more into a deep hole 16, and the tip 2b pushes the bottom surface of the chips 25 so as to extrude the chips 25 to an opening side of the hole saw 19, and extrudes the chips to a position out of the opening. The chips 25 is easily taken out of the deep hole 16 by the screwing force of the extruder 1.
